  1. وَاَمَّااور رہے
  2. ثَمُوْدُثمود
  3. فَهَدَیْنٰهُمْتو ہم نے ہدایت دی ان کو
  4. فَاسْتَحَبُّواتو انہوں نے ترجیح دی
  5. الْعَمٰیاندھے پن کو
  6. عَلَیپر
  7. الْهُدٰیہدایت (پر)
  8. فَاَخَذَتْهُمْتو پکڑ لیا ان کو
  9. صٰعِقَةُچنگھاڑ نے
  10. الْعَذَابِعذاب کی
  11. الْهُوْنِرسوا کن۔ ذلت کے
  12. بِمَابوجہ اس کے جو
  13. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  14. یَكْسِبُوْنَوہ کمائی کرتے

Tafheem-ul-Quran

رہے ثمود، تو ان کے سامنے ہم نے راہ راست پیش کی مگر انہوں نے راستہ دیکھنے کے بجائے اندھا بنا رہنا پسند کیا آخر اُن کے کرتوتوں کی بدولت ذلت کا عذاب اُن پر ٹوٹ پڑا

اور جو قوم ثمود تھی ان کو ہم نے ہدایت کی راہ دکھائی لیکن انہوں نے ہدایت کے مقابلے میں اندھے پن کو ہی پسند کیا توا نہیں بھی آپکڑا ذلت کے عذاب کی ہولناک کڑک نے ان کے کرتوتوں کی پاداش میں

Commentary

آیت 17 { وَاَمَّا ثَمُوْدُ فَہَدَیْنٰہُمْ } ”اور جو قوم ثمود تھی ‘ ان کو ہم نے ہدایت کی راہ دکھائی“ ان کی طرف ہم نے اپنا رسول بھی بھیجا اور اونٹنی کی صورت میں انہیں واضح معجزہ بھی دکھا دیا۔ { فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمٰی عَلَی الْہُدٰی } ”لیکن انہوں نے ہدایت کے مقابلے میں اندھے پن کو ہی پسند کیا“ ہماری واضح تعلیمات ان تک پہنچ گئی تھیں ‘ لیکن اس کے باوجود انہوں نے حقائق کی طرف سے اپنی آنکھیں بند ہی رکھیں۔ { فَاَخَذَتْہُمْ صٰعِقَۃُ الْعَذَابِ الْہُوْنِ بِمَا کَانُوْا یَکْسِبُوْنَ } ”توا نہیں بھی آپکڑا ذلت کے عذاب کی ہولناک کڑک نے ان کے کرتوتوں کی پاداش میں۔“
