  1. فَاَمَّاتو رہے
  2. عَادٌعاد
  3. فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْاپس انہوں نے تکبر کیا
  4. فِیمیں
  5. الْاَرْضِزمین (میں)
  6. بِغَیْرِبغیر
  7. الْحَقِّحق کے۔ (نا)حق
  8. وَقَالُوْااور انہوں نے کہا
  9. مَنْکون
  10. اَشَدُّزیادہ شدید ہوسکتا ہے
  11. مِنَّاہم سے
  12. قُوَّةً ؕقوت میں
  13. اَوَلَمْکیا نہیں
  14. یَرَوْاانہوں نے دیکھا
  15. اَنَّبیشک
  16. اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
  17. الَّذِیْوہ ذات ہے
  18. خَلَقَهُمْجس نے پیدا کیا ان کو
  19. هُوَوہ
  20. اَشَدُّزیادہ شدید ہے
  21. مِنْهُمْان سے
  22. قُوَّةً ؕقوت میں
  23. وَكَانُوْااور تھے وہ
  24. بِاٰیٰتِنَاہماری آیات کا
  25. یَجْحَدُوْنَوہ انکار کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

عاد کا حال یہ تھا کہ وہ زمین میں کسی حق کے بغیر بڑے بن بیٹھے اور کہنے لگے "کون ہے ہم سے زیادہ زور آور" اُن کو یہ نہ سوجھا کہ جس خدا نے ان کو پیدا کیا ہے وہ ان سے زیادہ زور آور ہے؟ وہ ہماری آیات کا انکار ہی کرتے رہے

عاد کا معاملہ یہ تھا کہ انہوں نے زمین میں بہت تکبر کیا بالکل ناحق اور انہوں نے کہا کہ کون ہے ہم سے بڑھ کر قوت میں ؟ کیا انہوں نے غور نہیں کیا تھا کہ وہ اللہ جس نے انہیں پیدا کیا وہ ان سے بہت بڑھ کر ہے قوت میں اور وہ ہماری آیات کا انکار کرتے رہے

Commentary

آیت 15 { فَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَکْبَرُوْا فِی الْاَرْضِ بِغَیْرِ الْحَقِّ } ”عاد کا معاملہ یہ تھا کہ انہوں نے زمین میں بہت تکبر کیا بالکل ناحق“ { وَقَالُوْا مَنْ اَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّۃً } ”اور انہوں نے کہا کہ کون ہے ہم سے بڑھ کر قوت میں ؟“ { اَوَلَمْ یَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰہَ الَّذِیْ خَلَقَہُمْ ہُوَ اَشَدُّ مِنْہُمْ قُوَّۃً } ”کیا انہوں نے غور نہیں کیا تھا کہ وہ اللہ جس نے انہیں پیدا کیا وہ ان سے بہت بڑھ کر ہے قوت میں !“ اگر انہیں اپنے مدمقابل کوئی اور قوم اس وقت دنیا میں نظر نہیں آرہی تھی تو کیا انہیں اللہ کی طاقت بھی نظر نہیں آرہی تھی ؟ ایک وہ طاقتور ہستی تو بہر حال موجود تھی جس نے انہیں پیدا کیا تھا۔ { وَکَانُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا یَجْحَدُوْنَ } ”اور وہ ہماری آیات کا انکار کرتے رہے۔“
