Surah 40, ayah 50

  1. قَالُوْۤاوہ کہیں گے
  2. اَوَلَمْکیا بھلا نہ
  3. تَكُتھے
  4. تَاْتِیْكُمْآئے تمہارے پاس
  5. رُسُلُكُمْتمہارے رسول
  6. بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ ؕساتھ روشن دلائل کے
  7. قَالُوْاوہ کہیں گے
  8. بَلٰی ؕکیوں نہیں
  9. قَالُوْاوہ کہیں گے
  10. فَادْعُوْا ۚپس دعا کرو
  11. وَمَااور نہیں
  12. دُعٰٓؤُادعا
  13. الْكٰفِرِیْنَکافروں کی
  14. اِلَّامگر
  15. فِیْمیں
  16. ضَلٰلٍگمراہی (میں) گم ہونے والی

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہ پوچھیں گے”کیا تمہارے پاس تمہارے رسُول بیّنات لے کر نہیں آتے رہے تھے؟“وہ کہیں گے”ہاں۔“ جہنّم کے اہل کار بولیں گے”پھر تو تم ہی دُعا کرو ، اور کافروں کی دُعا اکارت ہی جانے والی ہے۔“1

  1.  یعنی جب واقعہ یہ ہے کہ رسول تمہارے پاس بینات لے کر آ چکے تھے اور تم اس بنا پر سزا پاکر یہاں آۓ ہو کہ تم نے ان کی بات ماننے سے انکار(کفر)کر دیا تھا، تو اب ہمارے لیے تمہارے حق میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے کوئی دعا کرنا کسی طرح بھی ممکن نہیں ہے، کیونکہ ایسی دعا کے لیے کوئی نہ کوئی عذر تو ہونا چاہیے، اور تم اپنی طرف سے ہر معذرت کی گنجائش پہلے ہی ختم کر  چکے ہو۔ اس حالت میں تم خود دعا کرنا چاہو تو کر دیکھو۔ مگر ہم یہ پہلے ہی تمہیں بتاۓ دیتے ہیں کہ تمہاری طرح کفر کر کے جو لوگ یہاں آۓ ہوں ان کی دعا بالکل لا حاصل ہے۔
