Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے قوم، آخر یہ کیا ماجرا ہے کہ میں تو تم لوگوں کو نجات کی طرف بلاتا ہوں اور تم لوگ مجھے آگ کی طرف دعوت دیتے ہو!

اور اے میری قوم کے لوگو ! مجھے کیا ہے کہ میں تمہیں پکار رہا ہوں نجات کی طرف اور تم مجھے دعوت دے رہے ہو آگ کی !

Commentary

آیت 41 { وَیٰــقَوْمِ مَا لِیْٓ اَدْعُوْکُمْ اِلَی النَّجٰوۃِ وَتَدْعُوْنَنِیْٓ اِلَی النَّارِ } ”اور اے میری قوم کے لوگو ! مجھے کیا ہے کہ میں تمہیں پکار رہا ہوں نجات کی طرف اور تم مجھے دعوت دے رہے ہو آگ کی !“ تم اللہ کے رسول علیہ السلام کو قتل کرنے کی منصوبہ بندی کر رہے ہو اور مجھ سے چاہتے ہو کہ میں بھی اس گناہ میں تمہارے ساتھ شریک ہو کر جہنم کا مستحق بن جائوں ‘ جبکہ میں چاہتا ہوں کہ تم سب میرے ساتھ آئو ‘ میرا راستہ اپنائو ‘ اللہ کے حضور توبہ کرو اور جہنم سے نجات پا کر جنت میں چلے جائو۔
