  1. فَلَاپس نہیں
  2. وَرَبِّكَقسم ہے تیرے رب کی
  3. لَانہیں
  4. یُؤْمِنُوْنَمومن ہوسکتے
  5. حَتّٰییہاں تک کہ
  6. یُحَكِّمُوْكَوہ منصف بنائیں تجھ کو
  7. فِیْمَااس معاملہ میں جو
  8. شَجَرَاختلاف ہوا
  9. بَیْنَهُمْان کے درمیان
  10. ثُمَّپھر
  11. لَانہ
  12. یَجِدُوْاوہ پائیں
  13. فِیْۤمیں
  14. اَنْفُسِهِمْاپنے نفسوں میں
  15. حَرَجًاکوئی تنگی
  16. مِّمَّااس میں سے جو
  17. قَضَیْتَآپ نے فیصلہ کیا
  18. وَیُسَلِّمُوْااور وہ مان لیں
  19. تَسْلِیْمًاپوری طرح مان جانا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

نہیں، اے محمد ؐ !تمہارے رب کی قسم یہ کبھی مومن نہیں ہوسکتے جب تک کہ اپنے باہمی اِختلافات میں یہ تم کو فیصلہ کرنے والا نہ مان لیں، پھر جو کچھ تم فیصلہ کرو اس پر اپنے دلوں میں بھی کوئی تنگی نہ محسُوس کریں، بلکہ سربسر تسلیم کرلیں۔1

  1. اس آیت کا حکم صرف حضور ؐ  کی زندگی تک محدُود نہیں ہے بلکہ قیامت تک کے لیے ہے۔ جو کچھ اللہ کی طرف سے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لائے ہیں اور جس طریقہ پر اللہ کی ہدایت و رہنمائی کے تحت آپ نے عمل کیا ہے وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لیے  مسلمانوں کے درمیان فیصلہ کُن سند ہے اور اس سند کو ماننے یا نہ ماننے ہی پر آدمی کے مومن ہونے اور نہ ہونے کا فیصلہ ہے۔ حدیث میں اسی بات کو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان الفاظ میں ارشاد فرمایا ہے کہ       لا یؤمن احدکم حتٰی یکون ھواہ تبعا لما جئت بہٖ۔ تم میں سے کوئی شخص مومن نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک کہ اس کی خواہشِ نفس اس طریقہ کی تابع نہ ہو جائے جسے میں لے کر آیا ہوں۔

پس نہیں آپ کے رب کی قسم ! یہ ہرگز مؤمن نہیں ہوسکتے جب تک کہ یہ آپ کو حکم نہ مانیں ان تمام معاملات میں جو ان کے مابین پیدا ہوجائیں پھر جو کچھ آپ فیصلہ کردیں اس پر اپنے دلوں میں بھی کوئی تنگی محسوس نہ کریں اور سرتسلیم خم کریں جیسے کہ سرتسلیم خم کرنے کا حق ہے

Commentary

آیت 65 فَلاَ وَرَبِّکَ لاَ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ حَتّٰی یُحَکِّمُوْکَ فِیْمَا شَجَرَ بَیْنَہُمْ اس میں انہیں کوئی اختیار choice حاصل نہیں ہے۔ ان کے مابین جو بھی نزاعات اور اختلافات ہوں ان میں اگر یہ آپ کو حکم نہیں مانتے تو آپ کے رب کی قسم یہ مؤمن نہیں ہیں۔ کلام الٰہی کا دوٹوک اور پر جلال انداز ملاحظہ کیجیے۔ ثُمَّ لاَ یَجِدُوْا فِیْٓ اَنْفُسِہِمْ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَیْتَ اگر آپ ﷺ ‘ کا فیصلہ قبول بھی کرلیا ‘ لیکن دل کی تنگی اور کدورت کے ساتھ کیا تب بھی یہ مؤمن نہیں ہیں۔وَیُسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِیْمًا واضح رہے کہ یہ حکم صرف رسول اللہ ﷺ کی زندگی تک محدود نہیں تھا ‘ بلکہ یہ قیامت تک کے لیے ہے۔
