  1. یَوْمَىِٕذٍجس دن
  2. یَّوَدُّجائیں گے
  3. الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
  4. كَفَرُوْاجنہوں نے کفر کیا
  5. وَعَصَوُااور نافرمانی کی
  6. الرَّسُوْلَرسول کی
  7. لَوْکاش
  8. تُسَوّٰیبرابر کردی جائے
  9. بِهِمُان پر
  10. الْاَرْضُ ؕزمین
  11. وَلَااور نہ
  12. یَكْتُمُوْنَوہ چھپا سکیں گے
  13. اللّٰهَاللہ سے
  14. حَدِیْثًاکوئی بات

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اُس وقت وہ سب لوگ جنہوں نے رسولؐ کی بات نہ مانی اور اس کی نافرمانی کرتے رہے، تمنا کریں گے کہ کاش زمین پھٹ جائے اور وہ اس میں سما جائیں وہاں یہ اپنی کوئی بات اللہ سے نہ چھپا سکیں گے

اس دن تمنا کریں گے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے کفر کیا تھا اور رسول کی نافرمانی کی تھی کہ کاش ان کے سمیت زمین برابرکردی جائے اور وہ اللہ سے کوئی بات بھی چھپا نہیں سکیں گے

Commentary

آیت 42 یَوْمَءِذٍ یَّوَدُّ الَّذِیْنَ کَفَرُوْا وَعَصَوُا الرَّسُوْلَ لَوْ تُسَوّٰی بِہِمُ الْاَرْضُ ط۔یعنی کسی طرح زمین پھٹ جائے اور ہم اس میں دفن ہوجائیں ‘ ہمیں نسیاً منسیّا کردیا جائے۔
