  1. وَلِكُلٍّاور واسطے ہر ایک کے
  2. جَعَلْنَابنا دیے ہم نے
  3. مَوَالِیَوارث ۔ مقدار
  4. مِمَّااس سے جو
  5. تَرَكَچھوڑ جائیں
  6. الْوَالِدٰنِوالدین
  7. وَالْاَقْرَبُوْنَ ؕاور رشتہ دار
  8. وَالَّذِیْنَاور وہ لوگ
  9. عَقَدَتْگرہ باندھی
  10. اَیْمَانُكُمْتمہارے دائیں ہاتھ نے
  11. فَاٰتُوْهُمْپس دو تم ان کو
  12. نَصِیْبَهُمْ ؕان کا حصہ
  13. اِنَّبیشک
  14. اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
  15. كَانَہے
  16. عَلٰیاوپر
  17. كُلِّہر
  18. شَیْءٍچیز کے
  19. شَهِیْدًاگواہ

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور ہم نے ہر اُس ترکے کے حق دار مقرر کردیے ہیں جو والدین اور رشتہ دار چھوڑیں۔ اب رہے وہ لوگ جن سے تمہارے عہدو پیمان ہوں تو ان کا حصّہ انہیں دو، یقیناً اللہ ہر چیز پر نگراں ہے۔1

  1. اہلِ عرب میں قاعدہ تھا کہ جن لوگوں کے درمیان دوستی اور بھائی چارہ کے عہد و پیمان ہوجاتے تھے وہ ایک دُوسرے کی میراث کے حقدار بن جاتے تھے۔ اسی طرح جسے بیٹا بنا لیا جاتا تھا وہ بھی منہ بولے باپ کا وارث قرار پاتا تھا۔ اس آیت میں جاہلیت کے اس طریقے کو منسُوخ کرتے ہوئے  ارشاد فرمایا گیا ہے کہ وراثت تو اُسی قاعدہ کے مطابق رشتہ دار وں میں تقسیم ہونی چاہیے جو ہم نے مقرر کر دیا ہے ، البتہ جن لوگوں سے تمہارے عہد و پیمان ہوں اُن کو اپنی زندگی میں تم جو چاہو دے سکتے ہو۔
