  1. یُرِیْدُچاہتا ہے
  2. اللّٰهُاللہ
  3. لِیُبَیِّنَبیان کرے
  4. لَكُمْتمہارے لیے
  5. وَیَهْدِیَكُمْاور اور راہنمائی کرے تمہاری
  6. سُنَنَطریقوں کی
  7. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کے
  8. مِنْسے
  9. قَبْلِكُمْجو تم (سے) پہلے تھے
  10. وَیَتُوْبَاورمہربان ہو
  11. عَلَیْكُمْ ؕتم پر
  12. وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
  13. عَلِیْمٌعلم والا ہے
  14. حَكِیْمٌحکمت والا ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اللہ چاہتا ہے کہ تم پر اُن طریقوں کو واضح کرے اور اُنہی طریقوں پر تمہیں چلائے جن کی پیروی تم سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے صلحاء کرتے تھے۔ وہ اپنی رحمت کے ساتھ تمہاری طرف متوجّہ ہونے کا ارادہ رکھتا ہے، اور وہ علیم بھی ہے اور دانا بھی۔1

  1. سُورہ کے آغاز سے یہاں تک جو ہدایات دی گئی ہیں ، اور اس سُورہ کے نزول سے پہلے سُورہٴ بقرہ میں مسائل تمدّن و معاشرت کے متعلق جو ہدایات دی جا چکی تھیں، ان سب کی طرف بحیثیتِ مجمُوعی اشارہ کرتے ہوئے فرمایا  جا رہا ہے کہ یہ معاشرت ، اخلاق اور تمدّن کے وہ قوانین ہیں جن پر قدیم ترین زمانہ  سے ہر دَور کے انبیاء اور اُن کے صالح پَیرو عمل کرتے  چلے آئے ہیں، اور یہ اللہ کی عنایت و مہربانی ہے کہ وہ تم کو جاہلیت کی حالت سے نکال کر صالحین کے طریقہ ٴ زندگی کی طرف تمہاری رہنمائی کر رہا ہے۔
