  1. اِنَّمَابیشک
  2. التَّوْبَةُتوبہ
  3. عَلَیکے
  4. اللّٰهِاللہ کے ذمہ ہے
  5. لِلَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کے لیے
  6. یَعْمَلُوْنَجو عمل کرتے ہیں
  7. السُّوْٓءَبرا
  8. بِجَهَالَةٍجہالت کے ساتھ
  9. ثُمَّپھر
  10. یَتُوْبُوْنَتوبہ کرلیتے ہیں
  11. مِنْسے
  12. قَرِیْبٍقریب
  13. فَاُولٰٓىِٕكَتو یہی وہ لوگ ہیں
  14. یَتُوْبُمہربان ہوگا
  15. اللّٰهُاللہ
  16. عَلَیْهِمْ ؕاوپر ان کے
  17. وَكَانَاور ہے
  18. اللّٰهُاللہ
  19. عَلِیْمًاعلم والا
  20. حَكِیْمًاحکمت والا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہاں یہ جان لو کہ اللہ پر توبہ کی قبولیت کا حق اُنہی لوگوں کے لیے ہے جو نادانی کی وجہ سے کوئی برا فعل کر گزرتے ہیں اور اس کے بعد جلدی ہی توبہ کر لیتے ہیں ایسے لوگوں پر اللہ اپنی نظر عنایت سے پھر متوجہ ہو جاتا ہے اور اللہ ساری باتوں کی خبر رکھنے والا اور حکیم و دانا ہے

Bayan-ul-Quran

اللہ کے ذمے ہے توبہ قبول کرنا ایسے لوگوں کی جو کوئی بری حرکت کر بیٹھتے ہیں جہالت اور نادانی میں پھر جلد ہی توبہ کرلیتے ہیں تو یہی ہیں جن کی توبہ اللہ قبول فرمائے گا اور اللہ تعالیٰ باخبر ہے اور حکیم و دانا ہے

Commentary

آیت 17 اِنَّمَا التَّوْبَۃُ عَلَی اللّٰہِ لِلَّذِیْنَ یَعْمَلُوْنَ السُّوْءَ بِجَہَالَۃٍ ثُمَّ یَتُوْبُوْنَ مِنْ قَرِیْبٍ ایک صاحب ایمان پر کبھی ایسا وقت بھی آسکتا ہے کہ خارجی اثرات اتنے شدید ہوجائیں یا نفس کے اندر کا ہیجان اسے جذبات سے مغلوب کر دے اور وہ کوئی گناہ کا کام کر گزرے۔ لیکن اس کے بعد اسے جیسے ہی ہوش آئے گا اس پر شدید ندامت طاری ہوجائے گی اور وہ اللہ کے حضور توبہ کرے گا۔ ایسے شخص کے بارے میں فرمایا گیا ہے کہ اس کی توبہ قبول کرنا اللہ کے ذمے ہے۔
