اور بسبب ان کے سود کھانے کے جبکہ اس سے انہیں منع کیا گیا تھا اور بسبب ان کے لوگوں کے مال ناحق ہڑپ کرنے کے اور ان میں سے جو کافر ہیں ان کے لیے ہم نے بہت درد ناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

Commentary
آیت 161 وَّاَخْذِہِمُ الرِّبٰوا وَقَدْ نُہُوْا عَنْہُ شریعت موسوی میں سود حرام تھا ‘ آج بھی حرام ہے ‘ لیکن انہوں نے اس حکم کا اپنا ایک من پسند مفہوم نکال لیا ‘ جس کے مطابق یہودیوں کا آپس میں سود کا لین دین تو حرام ہے ‘ کوئی یہودی دوسرے یہودی سے سودی لین دین نہیں کرسکتا ‘ لیکن غیر یہودی سے سود لینا جائز ہے ‘ کیونکہ وہ ان کے نزدیک Gentiles اور Goyems ہیں ‘ انسان نما حیوان ہیں ‘ جن سے فائدہ اٹھانا اور ان کا استحاصل کرنا ان کا حق ہے۔ ہم سورة آل عمران آیت 75 میں یہود کا یہ قول پڑھ چکے ہیں : لَیسَ عَلَیْنَا فِیْ الْاُمِّیّٖنَ سَبِیْلٌ کہ ان امیینّ کے بارے میں ہم پر کوئی گرفت ہے ہی نہیں ‘ کوئی ذمہ داری ہے ہی نہیں۔ ہم جیسے چاہیں لوٹ مار کریں ‘ جس طرح چاہیں انہیں دھوکہ دیں ‘ ہم پر کوئی مواخذہ نہیں۔ لہٰذا سو دکھانے میں ان کے ہاں عمومی طور پر کوئی قباحت نہیں ہے۔
