- وَلِلّٰهِاور اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے
- مَاجو کچھ
- فِیمیں ہے
- السَّمٰوٰتِآسمانوں
- وَمَااور جو کچھ
- فِیمیں ہے
- الْاَرْضِ ؕزمین
- وَلَقَدْاور البتہ تحقیق
- وَصَّیْنَاوصیت کی ہم نے
- الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کو
- اُوْتُواجو دیے گئے
- الْكِتٰبَکتاب
- مِنْسے
- قَبْلِكُمْتم سے پہلے
- وَاِیَّاكُمْاور تم کو بھی
- اَنِکہ
- اتَّقُوااور ڈرو
- اللّٰهَ ؕاللہ سے
- وَاِنْاور اگر
- تَكْفُرُوْاتم کفر کرو گے
- فَاِنَّتو بیشک

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اور اللہ ہی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے اور (دیکھو مسلمانو !) تم سے پہلے جن لوگوں کو کتاب دی گئی تھی انہیں بھی ہم نے وصیت کی تھی اور اب تمہیں بھی یہی وصیّت ہے کہ اللہ کا تقویٰ اختیار کرو اور اگر تم نہ مانو گے تو (یاد رکھو کہ) جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے وہ اللہ ہی کا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ تو خود غنی ہے اپنی ذات میں خودستودہ صفات ہے

Commentary
آیت 131 وَلِلّٰہِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِی الْاَرْضِ ط وَلَقَدْ وَصَّیْنَا الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْکِتٰبَ مِنْ قَبْلِکُمْ وَاِیَّاکُمْ اَنِ اتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ ط احکام شریعت کی تعمیل کے سلسلے میں اصل جذبۂ محرکہ تقویٰ ہے۔ تقویٰ کے بغیر شریعت بھی مذاق بن جائے گی۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ایک خطبہ کے یہ الفاظ بہت مشہور ہیں اور خطبات جمعہ میں بھی اکثر انہیں شامل کیا جاتا ہے : اُوْصِیْکُمْ وَنَفْسِیْ بِتَقْوَی اللّٰہِ 1 مسلمانو ! میں تمہیں بھی اور اپنے نفس کو بھی اللہ کا تقویٰ اختیار کرنے کی وصیّت کرتا ہوں۔ قرآن حکیم میں جابجا اللہ تعالیٰ کا تقویٰ اختیار کرنے کی ہدایت کی گئی ہے۔ سورة التحریم میں ارشاد ہے : یٰٓاَیُّھَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قُوْآ اَنْفُسَکُمْ وَاَہْلِیْکُمْ نَارًا آیت : 6 اے ایمان والو ‘ بچاؤ اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو آگ سے۔ یہاں بھی تقویٰ کا حکم انتہائی تاکید کے ساتھ دیا جا رہا ہے۔
