Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہ اللہ کو چھوڑ کر دیویوں کو معبود بناتے ہیں۔ وہ اس باغی شیطان کو معبود بناتے ہیں1

  1. شیطان کو اس معنی میں تو کوئی بھی معبُود نہیں بناتا کہ  اس کے آگے مراسمِ پرستش ادا کرتا ہو اور اس کو الوہیّت کا درجہ دیتا ہو۔ البتہ اُسے معبُود بنانے کی صُورت یہ ہے کہ آدمی اپنے نفس کی باگیں شیطان کے ہاتھ میں دے دیتا ہے اور جدھر جدھر وہ چلاتا ہے اُدھر چلتا ہے، گویا کہ یہ اُس کا بندہ ہے اور وہ اِس  کا خدا۔ اس سے معلوم ہوا کہ کسی کے احکام کی بے چون  وچرا اطاعت اور اندھی پیروی کرنے کا نام بھی”عبادت“ ہے، اور جو شخص اس طرح کی اطاعت کرتا ہے وہ دراصل اس کی عبادت بجا لاتا ہے۔
