  1. خَلَقَاس نے پیدا کیا
  2. السَّمٰوٰتِآسمانوں کو
  3. وَالْاَرْضَاور زمین کو
  4. بِالْحَقِّ ۚحق کے ساتھ
  5. یُكَوِّرُڈھانپتا ہے
  6. الَّیْلَرات کو
  7. عَلَیپر
  8. النَّهَارِدن
  9. وَیُكَوِّرُاور ڈھانپتا ہے
  10. النَّهَارَدن کو
  11. عَلَیپر
  12. الَّیْلِرات
  13. وَسَخَّرَاور اس نے مسخر کر رکھا ہے
  14. الشَّمْسَسورج کو
  15. وَالْقَمَرَ ؕاور چاند کو
  16. كُلٌّسب کے سب
  17. یَّجْرِیْچل رہے ہیں
  18. لِاَجَلٍمدت تک کے لئے
  19. مُّسَمًّی ؕایک مقرر
  20. اَلَاخبردار
  21. هُوَوہی
  22. الْعَزِیْزُزبردست ہے،
  23. الْغَفَّارُبہت بخشش فرمانے والا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو  بر حق پیدا کیا ہے۔1 وہی دن پر رات اور رات پر دن کو لپیٹتا ہے۔ اُسی نے سُورج اور چاند کو اس طرح مسخّر کر رکھا ہے کہ ہر ایک ایک وقتِ مقرر تک چلے جا رہا ہے۔ جان رکھو، وہ زبردست ہے اور درگزر کرنے والا ہے2

  2. یعنی زبردست ایسا ہے کہ اگر وہ تمہیں عذاب دینا چاہے تو کوئی طاقت اس کی مزاحمت نہیں کر سکتی۔ مگر یہ اس کا کرم ہے کہ تم یہ کچھ گستاخیاں کر رہے ہو اور اور پھر بھی وہ تم کو فوراً پکڑ نہیں لیتا بلکہ مہلت  پر مہلت دیے جاتا ہے۔اس مقام پر عقوبت میں تعجیل نہ کرنے اور مہلت دینے کو مغفرت (درگزر) سے تعبیر کیا گیا ہے۔
