  12. كُنْتُمیں تھا
  13. لَمِنَالبتہ سے
  14. السّٰخِرِیْنَمذاق اڑانے والوں (میں سے)

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ بعد میں کوئی شخص کہے "افسوس میری اُس تقصیر پر جو میں اللہ کی جناب میں کرتا رہا، بلکہ میں تو الٹا مذاق اڑانے والوں میں شامل تھا"

Bayan-ul-Quran

مبادا کہ اس وقت کوئی جان یہ کہے کہ ہائے افسوس اس کوتاہی پر جو مجھ سے اللہ کی جناب میں ہوئی اور میں تو مذاق اڑانے والوں ہی میں شامل رہا۔

Commentary

آیت 56 { اَنْ تَقُوْلَ نَفْسٌ یّٰحَسْرَتٰی عَلٰی مَا فَرَّطْتُّ فِیْ جَنْبِ اللّٰہِ } ”مبادا کہ اس وقت کوئی جان یہ کہے کہ ہائے افسوس اس کوتاہی پر جو مجھ سے اللہ کی جناب میں ہوئی“ م ہائے میری بدقسمتی کہ میں زندگی بھر اپنے دھندوں میں اس طرح مگن رہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حقوق کو پہچان ہی نہ سکا۔ میرے سامنے اللہ کا دین مغلوب تھا مگر میں اس کی سربلندی کے لیے جدو جہد کرنے کے بجائے اپنی عیش و عشرت کے مواقع ڈھونڈنے اور اپنا معیارِ زندگی بلند کرنے میں لگا رہا۔ میں نے دنیا کے مال و متاع کو ہی اپنا معبود سمجھ لیا اور عمر بھر اسی کے لیے اپنا تن من دھن کھپاتا رہا۔ { وَاِنْ کُنْتُ لَمِنَ السَّاخِرِیْنَ } ”اور میں تو مذاق اڑانے والوں ہی میں شامل رہا۔“ میں نے اللہ تعالیٰ ‘ اس کے دین اور آخرت کی باتوں کو نہ کبھی دھیان سے سنا اور نہ ہی کبھی سنجیدگی سے ان پر غور کیا ‘ بلکہ میں تو ہمیشہ ان باتوں کا مذاق ہی اڑاتا رہا۔
