جو بات کو توجہ سے سنتے ہیں پھر اس کے بہترین پہلو کی پیروی کرتے ہیں یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہیں اللہ نے ہدایت دی ہے اور یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو عقل مند ہیں۔

Commentary
آیت 18 { الَّذِیْنَ یَسْتَمِعُوْنَ الْقَوْلَ فَیَتَّبِعُوْنَ اَحْسَنَہٗ } ”جو بات کو توجہ سے سنتے ہیں ‘ پھر اس کے بہترین پہلو کی پیروی کرتے ہیں۔“ یعنی یہ دین جس کی طرف اللہ تمہیں بلا رہا ہے اس کے بھی مختلف مدارج ہیں۔ پہلاد رجہ اسلام ہے ‘ اس سے اونچا درجہ ایمان اور پھر سب سے اونچا درجہ احسان ہے۔ درجہ احسان پر فائز لوگوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے { وَاللّٰہُ یُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ } المائدۃ کی بشارت سنائی ہے۔ چناچہ ہمیں چاہیے کہ دین کے معاملے میں زیادہ سے زیادہ محنت کریں اور ہر لمحہ بہتر سے بہتر درجے پر پہنچنے کی فکر میں رہیں۔ لیکن بد قسمتی سے ہمارا طرز عمل اس کے برعکس ہے۔ دُنیوی معاملات میں تو ہمارا ماٹو بقول حالیؔ یہ ہے کہ ـ: ؎ہے جستجو کہ خوب سے ہے خوب تر کہاں اب دیکھئے ٹھہرتی ہے جا کر نظر کہاں !جبکہ دین کے معاملے میں نہ صرف یہ کہ ہم کم سے کم پر گزارا کرنا چاہتے ہیں بلکہ پسپائی اختیار کرنے کی فکر میں ہر وقت کسی گنجائش اور رعایت کی تلاش میں رہتے ہیں۔ حالانکہ ایک بندہ مومن کو چاہیے کہ دنیا کے معاملے میں تو کم سے کم پر گزارا کرے اور دین کے معاملے میں ہمیشہ عزیمت کا راستہ اختیار کرنے کی فکر میں رہے۔ { اُولٰٓئِکَ الَّذِیْنَ ہَدٰٹہُمُ اللّٰہُ وَاُولٰٓئِکَ ہُمْ اُولُوا الْاَلْبَابِ } ”یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہیں اللہ نے ہدایت دی ہے اور یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو عقل مند ہیں۔“
