Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

یہ بات ہم نے زمانہٴ قریب کی مِلّت میں کسی سے نہیں سُنی۔1 یہ کچھ نہیں ہے مگر ایک من گھڑت بات

  1.  یعنی قریب کے زمانے میں ہمارے اپنے بزرگ بھی گزرے ہیں ، عیسائی اور یہودی بھی ہمارے ملک اور آس پاس کے ملکوں میں موجود ہیں ، اور مجوسیوں سے ایران و عراق اور مشرقی عرب بھرا پڑا ہے ۔ کسی نے بھی ہم سے یہ نہیں کہا کہ انسان بس ایک اللہ رب العالمین کو مانے اور دوسرے کسی کو نہ مانے ۔ ‘آخر ایک اکیلے خدا پر کون اکتفا کرتا ہے ۔ اللہ کے پیاروں کو تو سب ہی مان رہے ہیں ۔ ان کے آستانوں پر جا کر ماتھے رگڑ رہے ہیں ۔ نذریں دے رہے ہیں ۔ دعائیں مانگ رہے ہیں ۔ کہیں سے اولاد ملتی ہے ۔ کہیں سے رزق ملتا ہے ۔ کوی آستانے پر جو مراد مانگو بر آتے ہے ۔ ان کے تصرّفات کو ایک دنیا مان رہی ہے اور ان سے فیض پانے والے بتا رہے ہیں کہ ان درباروں سے لوگوں کی کس کس طرح مشکل کشائی و حاجت روائی ہوتی ہے ۔ اب اس شخص سے ہم یہ نرالی بات سن رہے ہیں ، جو کبھی کسی سے نہ سنی تھی، کہ ان میں  سے کسی کا بھی خدائی میں کوئی حصہ نہیں اور پوری کی پوری خدائی بس ایک اکیلے اللہ ہی کی ہے ۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

ہم نے ایسی کوئی بات پچھلے دین میں تو نہیں سنی ہے۔ یہ تو نہیں ہے مگر ایک گھڑی ہوئی چیز۔

Commentary

آیت 7 { مَا سَمِعْنَا بِہٰذَا فِی الْْمِلَّۃِ الْاٰخِرَۃِ } ”ہم نے ایسی کوئی بات پچھلے دین میں تو نہیں سنی ہے۔“ آخر ہمارا بھی اپنا ایک دین ہے جو ہم نے ورثے میں پایا ہے۔ پھر ہمارے باپ دادا کی روایات ہیں جو نسل در نسل ہم تک پہنچی ہیں۔ لیکن ہم نے ایسی باتیں اس سے پہلے نہ تو اپنے باپ دادا کے دین میں سنی ہیں اور نہ ہی پرانی روایات سے ان کی تصدیق ہوتی ہے۔ { اِنْ ہٰذَآ اِلَّا اخْتِلَاقٌ۔ ”یہ تو نہیں ہے مگر ایک گھڑی ہوئی چیز۔“ اختلاق ”خلق“ سے باب افتعال ہے۔ یعنی یہ کوئی خواہ مخواہ بنائی ہوئی چیز ہے۔
