- یٰدَاوٗدُاے داؤد
- اِنَّابیشک ہم نے
- جَعَلْنٰكَبنایا تجھ کو
- خَلِیْفَةًایک خلیفہ
- فِیمیں
- الْاَرْضِزمین
- فَاحْكُمْپس فیصلہ کرو
- بَیْنَدرمیان
- النَّاسِلوگوں کے
- بِالْحَقِّحق کے ساتھ
- وَلَااور نہ
- تَتَّبِعِتم پیروی کرو
- الْهَوٰیخواہش نفس کی
- فَیُضِلَّكَتو وہ بھٹکادے گی تجھ کو
- عَنْسے
- سَبِیْلِراستے
- اللّٰهِ ؕاللہ کے
- اِنَّبیشک
- الَّذِیْنَوہ لوگ
- یَضِلُّوْنَجو بھٹکتے ہیں
- عَنْسے
- سَبِیْلِراستے
- اللّٰهِاللہ کے
- لَهُمْان کے لئے
- عَذَابٌعذاب ہے
- شَدِیْدٌۢشدید
- بِمَابوجہ اس کے
- نَسُوْاجو وہ بھول گئے
- یَوْمَدن کو

Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
(ہم نے کہا :) اے دائود ؑ ! ہم نے تمہیں زمین میں خلیفہ بنایا ہے لہٰذا تم لوگوں کے درمیان حق کے ساتھ فیصلے کرو اور دیکھو ! اپنی خواہش کی پیروی نہ کرنا کہ وہ تمہیں اللہ کی راہ سے بھٹکا دے گی۔ یقینا وہ لوگ جو بھٹک جاتے ہیں اللہ کے راستے سے ان کے لیے بڑا سخت عذاب ہے بسبب اس کے کہ وہ بھول گئے حساب کے دن کو۔

Commentary
آیت 26 { یٰـدَاوٗدُ اِنَّا جَعَلْنٰکَ خَلِیْفَۃً فِی الْاَرْضِ فَاحْکُمْ بَیْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ } ”ہم نے کہا : اے دائود علیہ السلام ! ہم نے تمہیں زمین میں خلیفہ بنایا ہے ‘ لہٰذا تم لوگوں کے درمیان حق کے ساتھ فیصلے کرو“ { وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْہَوٰی فَیُضِلَّکَ عَنْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ } ”اور دیکھو ! اپنی خواہش کی پیروی نہ کرنا کہ وہ تمہیں اللہ کی راہ سے بھٹکا دے گی۔“ { اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَضِلُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ لَہُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِیْدٌم بِمَا نَسُوْا یَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ } ”یقینا وہ لوگ جو بھٹک جاتے ہیں اللہ کے راستے سے ان کے لیے بڑا سخت عذاب ہے ‘ بسبب اس کے کہ وہ بھول گئے حساب کے دن کو۔“ اگر حساب کا دن یاد رہے اور آخرت کی زندگی کا یقین دل میں موجود ہو تو انسان راہ راست پر رہتا ہے۔
