Commentary
آیت 91{ فَرَاغَ اِلٰٓی اٰلِہَتِہِمْ فَقَالَ اَلَا تَاْکُلُوْنَ } ”پھر وہ چپکے سے ان کے معبودوں میں جا گھسا اور کہنے لگا کہ تم کھاتے کیوں نہیں ؟“ لوگوں کے چلے جانے کے بعد حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام ان کے مندر میں گھس گئے۔ جشن کے مخصوص موقع کے حوالے سے نذرانوں کے طور پر ُ بتوں کے سامنے لازماً انواع و اقسام کے کھانے سجائے گئے ہوں گے۔ چناچہ یہ منظر دیکھ کر حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے ان سے سوال کیا کہ آخر کیا وجہ ہے کہ مزے مزے کے کھانے تمہارے سامنے پڑے ہیں مگر آپ لوگ تناول نہیں فرما رہے ؟
