اور اسی کی نسل کو باقی رکھا1

  1.  اس کے دو معنی ہو سکتے ہیں ۔ ایک یہ کہ جو لوگ حضرت نوح کی مخالفت کر رہے تھے ان کی نسل دنیا سے ناپید کر دی گئی اور حضرت نوحؑ ہی کی نسل باقی رکھی گئی اور آگے صرف حضرت نوح علیہ السلام ہی کی اولاد سے دنیا آباد کی گئی ۔ عام طور پر مفسرین نے اسی دوسرے معنی کو اختیار کیا ہے ، مگر قرآن مجید کے الفاظ اس معنی میں صریح نہیں ہیں اور حقیقت اللہ کے سوا کوئی نہیں جانتا ۔
