Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور ہر شیطانِ سرکش سے اس کو محفوظ کر دیا ہے۔1

  1. یعنی عالَم بالا محض خلا ہی نہیں ہے کہ جس کا جی چاہے اس میں نفوذ کر جائے ، بلکہ اس کی بندش ایسی مضبوط ہے ، اور اس کے مختلف خطّے ایسی مستحکم سرحدوں سے محصور کیے گئے ہیں کہ کسی شیطان سرکش کا ان حدوں سے گزر جانا ممکن نہیں ہے ۔ کائنات کے ہر تارے اور ہر سیّارے کا اپنا ایک دائرہ اور کُرہ (Sphere)ہے جس کے اندر سے کسی کا نکلتا بھی سخت دشوار ہے اور جس میں باہر سے کسی کا داخل ہونا بھی آسان نہیں ہے ۔ ظاہری آنکھ سے کوئی دیکھے تو خلائے محض کے سوا کچھ نظر نہیں آتا ۔ لیکن حقیقت میں اس خلا کے اندر بے حد و حساب خطے ایسی مضبوط سرحدوں سے محفوظ کیے گئے ہیں جن کے مقابلے میں آہنی دیواروں کی کوئی حقیقت نہیں ہے ۔ اس کا کچھ اندازہ ان گو ناں گوں مشکلات سے کیا جا سکتا ہے جو زمین کے رہنے والے انسان کو اپنے قریب ترین ہمسائے ، چاند تک پہنچنے میں پیش آ رہی ہیں ۔ ایسی ہی مشکلات زمین کی دوسری مخلوق ، یعنی جنوں کے لیے بھی عالمِ بالا کی طرف صعود کرنے میں مانع ہیں ۔

اور حفاظت کی خاطر ہر سرکش شیطان سے

Commentary

آیت 7{ وَحِفْظًا مِّنْ کُلِّ شَیْطٰنٍ مَّارِدٍ } ”اور حفاظت کی خاطر ہر سرکش شیطان سے۔“ یہ مضمون قرآن میں متعدد بار آیا ہے۔ سورة الحجر کی آیت 17 کے ضمن میں اس کی وضاحت قدرے تفصیل سے بیان ہوئی ہے۔ بہر حال اس مضمون کا خلاصہ یہ ہے کہ ِجنات ّکی تخلیق آگ سے ہوئی ہے اور میری رائے اس کے متعلق یہ ہے کہ ان کو سورج کی آگ کی لپٹ سے پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔ اور میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ اسی لیے نظام شمسی کی حدود میں جنات آزادانہ گھوم پھر سکتے ہیں۔ اس کے لیے انہیں کسی اہتمام یا کسی بیرونی مدد کی ضرورت نہیں۔ بلکہ جیسے پرندے فضا میں آسانی سے ادھر ادھر اڑتے پھرتے ہیں اسی طرح جنات بھی نظام شمسی کی پوری فضا یا حدود میں اپنی مرضی سے جہاں چاہیں آ جاسکتے ہیں۔ البتہ نظام شمسی کی حدود سے تجاوز کرنے کی انہیں اجازت نہیں۔ لیکن اس کے باوجود بعض سرکش جنات عالم بالا کے معاملات کی ُ سن گن لینے کے لیے اپنی حدود سے تجاوز کر کے آگے بڑھنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔ تخلیق کے اعتبار سے جنوں اور فرشتوں میں چونکہ قرب پایا جاتا ہے فرشتے نوری ہیں اور یہ ناری اس لیے شیاطین جن فرشتوں سے رابطہ کرنے اور کسی نہ کسی حد تک ان سے کچھ معلومات اخذ کرنے کی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں۔ چناچہ فرشتے عالم بالا سے احکام لے کر جب آسمانِ دنیا کی طرف نزول کرتے ہیں تو شیاطین جن ان سے کچھ معلومات قبل از وقت حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔ لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کی ایسی کوششوں کو ناکام بنانے کے لیے حفاظتی انتظام کر رکھا ہے۔ خصوصی طور پر نزول وحی کے زمانے میں اس حفاظتی نظام کو غیر معمولی طور پر فعال کیا جاتا رہا ہے۔
