Surah 37, ayah 147

  1. وَاَرْسَلْنٰهُاور بھیجا ہم نے اس کو

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اس کے بعد ہم نے اُسے ایک لاکھ، یا اس سے زائد لوگوں کی طرف بھیجا،1

  1.  ’’ ایک لاکھ یا اس سے زائد ‘‘ کہنے کا مطلب یہ نہیں ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کو ان کی تعداد میں شک تھا، بلکہ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اگر کوئی ان کی بستی کو دیکھتا تو یہی اندازہ کرتا کہ اس شہر کی آبادی ایک لاکھ سے زائد ہی ہو گی، کم نہ ہو گی۔ اغلب یہ ہے کہ یہ  وہی بستی تھی جس کو چھوڑ کر حضرت یونس بھاگے تھے ۔ ان کے جانے کے بعد عذاب آتا دیکھ کر جو ایمان اس بستی کے  لوگ لے آئے تھے اس کی حیثیت صرف توبہ کی تھی جسے قبول کر کے عذاب ان پر سے ٹال دیا گیا تھا۔ اب حضرت یونس علیہ السلام دوبارہ ان کی طرف بھیجے گئے تاکہ وہ نبی پر ایمان لا کر باقاعدہ مسلمان  ہو جائیں ۔ اس مضمون کو سمجھنے کے لیے سورہ یونس ، آیت 98 نگاہ میں رہنی چاہیے ۔

پھر ہم نے اس کو بھیج دیا ایک لاکھ یا اس سے زیادہ لوگوں کی طرف۔

Commentary

آیت 147{ وَاَرْسَلْنٰـہُ اِلٰی مِائَۃِ اَلْفٍ اَوْ یَزِیْدُوْنَ } ”پھر ہم نے اس کو بھیج دیا ایک لاکھ یا اس سے زیادہ لوگوں کی طرف۔“ یعنی صحت یاب ہوجانے کے بعد آپ علیہ السلام کو دوبارہ رسالت کی ذمہ داریاں سونپ دی گئیں۔ قرآن میں اس حوالے سے کوئی اشارہ نہیں ملتا کہ دوبارہ آپ علیہ السلام کو اپنی ہی قوم کی طرف بھیجا گیا تھا یا کسی اور قوم کی طرف۔ لیکن گمان غالب یہی ہے کہ آپ علیہ السلام دوبارہ اپنی ہی قوم میں مبعوث ہوئے اور اس آیت میں آپ علیہ السلام ہی کی قوم کی تعداد کے بارے میں بتایا گیا ہے۔ بہر حال سورة یونس میں ہم پڑھ چکے ہیں کہ آپ علیہ السلام کی قوم کی توبہ قبول کرتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان سے عذاب کو ٹال دیا تھا۔ سورة یونس کی آیت 98 میں یہ وضاحت بھی ملتی ہے کہ یہ استثناء صرف قوم یونس ہی کو حاصل ہے۔ یعنی پوری انسانی تاریخ میں واحد مثال ہے کہ عذاب کے آثار ظاہر ہوجانے کے بعد آپ علیہ السلام کی قوم کی توبہ قبول کرلی گئی۔
