اور اُس پر ایک بیلدار درخت1 اُگا دیا

  1.  اصل الفاظ ہیں شَجَرَۃً مِّنْ یَّقْطِیْن ۔ یقطین عربی زبان میں ایسے درخت کو کہتے ہیں جو کسی تنے پر کھڑا نہیں ہوتا بلکہ بیل کی شکل میں پھیلتا ہے ، جیسے ،کدو، تربوز، ککڑی وغیرہ بہر حال وہاں کوئی ایسی بیل معجزانہ طریقہ پر پیدا کر دی گئی تھی جس کے پتے حضرت یونس پر سایہ بھی کریں اور جس کے پھل ان کے لیے بیک وقت غذا کا کام بھی دیں اور پانی کا کام بھی۔
