تو روزِ قیامت تک اسی مچھلی کے پیٹ میں رہتا۔1

  1.  اس کا یہ مطلب نہیں ہے کہ وہ مچھلی قیامت تک زندہ رہتی اور حضرت یونس ؑ قیامت تک اس کے پیٹ میں زندہ رہتے ، بلکہ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ قیامت تک اس مچھلی کا پیٹ ہی حضرت یونسؑ کی قبر بنا رہتا۔ مشہور مفسر قتادہ نے اس آیت کا یہی مطلب بیان کیا ہے (ابن جریر) ۔

تو اس کے پیٹ ہی میں رہتا اس دن تک کہ جس میں لوگ اٹھائے جائیں گے

Commentary

آیت 144{ لَلَبِثَ فِیْ بَطْنِہٖٓ اِلٰی یَوْمِ یُبْعَثُوْنَ } ”تو اس کے پیٹ ہی میں رہتا اس دن تک کہ جس میں لوگ اٹھائے جائیں گے۔“ یعنی اگر آپ علیہ السلام اللہ تعالیٰ کی تسبیح آیت ِکریمہ کا ورد نہ کرتے تو قیامت تک اس مچھلی کے پیٹ ہی میں رہتے اُس کا پیٹ ہی آپ علیہ السلام کے لیے قبر بنا رہتا اور قیامت کے دن وہیں سے آپ علیہ السلام اٹھائے جاتے۔
