Commentary
وَبِالَّـیْلِ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ } ”اور رات کو بھی ‘ تو کیا تم عقل سے کام نہیں لیتے ؟“ قومِ لوط علیہ السلام کی تباہ ہونے والی بستیوں میں سے سدوم اور عامورہ کے شہر معروف تھے۔ حال ہی میں برطانیہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے آرکیالوجی کے کچھ ماہرین کی تحقیق کے نتیجے میں ان شہروں کے کھنڈرات اور آثار بحر ِمردار ُ کے پانی کے نیچے دریافت ہوئے ہیں ‘ جس سے تورات اور قرآن میں مذکور تفصیلات کی تصدیق ہوگئی ہے۔ اسی طرح جب اللہ کو منظور ہوگا حضرت نوح علیہ السلام کی کشتی بھی دنیا کی نگاہوں کے سامنے آجائے گی۔ سورة القمر ‘ آیت 15 میں اس حوالے سے اشارہ موجود ہے کہ کسی وقت یہ کشتی ایک بڑی نشانی کے طور پر ظاہر ہوگی۔ ہمارا ایمان ہے کہ وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ قرآن کی بیان کردہ تاریخ کے ثبوت ایک ایک کر کے دنیا کے سامنے آتے چلے جائیں گے۔ ان شاء اللہ !
