  1. وَلَقَدْاور البتہ تحقیق
  2. اَضَلَّاس نے گمراہ کردیا
  3. مِنْكُمْتم میں سے
  4. جِبِلًّامخلوق کو
  5. كَثِیْرًا ؕبہت سی
  6. اَفَلَمْکیا پھر نہیں
  7. تَكُوْنُوْاتھے تم
  8. تَعْقِلُوْنَتم عقل سے کام لیتے

مگر اس کے باوجود اس نے تم میں سے ایک گروہ ِ کثیر کو گمراہ کر دیا۔ کیا تم عقل نہیں رکھتے تھے؟1

  1.  یعنی اگر تم عقل سے محروم رکھے گئے ہوتے اور پھر اپنے رب کو چھوڑ کر اپنے دشمن کی بندگی کرتے تو تمہارے لیے عذر کی کوئی گنجائش تھی۔ لیکن تمہارے پاس تو خدا کی دی ہوئی عقل موجود تھی جس سے تم اپنے  دنیا کے سارے کام چلا رہے تھے ۔ اور تمہیں خدا نے اپنے پیغمبروں کے ذریعہ سے متنبہ  بھی کر دیا تھا۔ اس پر بھی جب تم اپنے دشمن کے فریب میں آئے اور وہ تمہیں گمراہ کرنے میں کامیاب ہو گیا تو اپنی اس حماقت کی ذمہ داری سے تم کسی طرح بری نہیں ہو سکتے ۔
