  1. ءَاَتَّخِذُکیا میں بنالوں
  2. مِنْسے
  3. دُوْنِهٖۤاس کے سوا
  4. اٰلِهَةًکچھ الٰہ
  5. اِنْاگر
  6. یُّرِدْنِارادہ کرے میرے ساتھ/ چاہے میرے ساتھ
  7. الرَّحْمٰنُرحمن
  8. بِضُرٍّکسی تکلیف کا/ نقصان کو
  9. لَّانہ
  10. تُغْنِنہ کام آئے گی
  11. عَنِّیْمجھ کو
  12. شَفَاعَتُهُمْان کی سفارش
  13. شَیْـًٔاکچھ بھی
  14. وَّلَااور نہ
  15. یُنْقِذُوْنِوہ بچاسکیں گے مجھ کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

کیا میں اُسے چھوڑ کر دُوسرے معبُود بنا لوں؟ حالانکہ اگر خدائے رحمٰن مجھے کوئی نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو نہ اُن کی شفاعت میرے کسی کام آسکتی ہے اور نہ وہ مجھے چھُڑا ہی سکتے ہیں۔1

  1.  یعنی نہ وہ خدا کے ایسے چہیتے ہیں کہ میں صریح جرم کروں اور  وہ محض ان کی سفارش پر مجھے معاف کر دے ۔ اور نہ ان کے اندر اتنا زور ہے کہ خدا مجھے سزا دینا چاہے اور وہ اپنے بل بوتے پر مجھے چھڑا لے جائیں۔

یا میں اس کے سوا دوسروں کو معبود بنالوں ؟ اگر رحمن مجھے کوئی نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو ان (جھوٹے معبودوں) کی سفارش میرے کسی کام نہیں آئے گی اور نہ وہ مجھے چھڑاسکیں گے

Commentary

آیت 23 { ئَ اَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِہٖٓ اٰلِہَۃً } ”کیا میں اس کے سوا دوسروں کو معبود بنالوں ؟“ کیا میں اس معبودِ حقیقی کو چھوڑ کر جھوٹے خدائوں اور دیوی دیوتائوں کی پوجا شروع کر دوں ؟ { اِنْ یُّرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لاَّ تُغْنِ عَنِّیْ شَفَاعَتُہُمْ شَیْئًا وَّلاَ یُنْقِذُوْنِ } ”اگر رحمن مجھے کوئی نقصان پہنچانا چاہے تو ان جھوٹے معبودوں کی سفارش میرے کسی کام نہیں آئے گی اور نہ وہ مجھے چھڑاسکیں گے۔“
