  1. قَالُوْۤاانہوں نے کہا
  2. اِنَّابیشک ہم
  3. تَطَیَّرْنَامنحوس سمجھتے ہیں ہم /فال بد سمجھتے ہیں ہم
  4. بِكُمْ ۚتم کو
  5. لَىِٕنْالبتہ اگر
  6. لَّمْنہیں
  7. تَنْتَهُوْاتم باز آئے
  8. لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْالبتہ ہم ضرور سنگسار کردیں گے تم کو
  9. وَلَیَمَسَّنَّكُمْاور البتہ ضرور چھوئے گا تم کو
  10. مِّنَّاہماری طرف سے
  11. عَذَابٌعذاب
  12. اَلِیْمٌدرد ناک

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

بستی والے کہنے لگے”ہم تو تمہیں اپنے لیے فالِ بد سمجھتے ہیں۔1 اگر تم باز نہ آئے تو ہم تم کو سنگسار کر دیں گے اور ہم سے تم بڑی دردناک سزا پاوٴگے۔“

  1.  اس سے ان لوگوں کا مطلب یہ تھا کہ تم ہمارے لیے منحوس ہو، تم نے آ کر ہمارے معبودوں کے خلاف جو باتیں کرنی شروع ہیں ان  کی سجہ سے دیوتا ہم سے ناراض ہو گئے ہیں، اور اب جو آفت بھی ہم پر نازل ہو رہی ہے وہ تمہاری بدولت ہی ہو رہی ہے ۔ ٹھیک یہی باتیں عرب کے کفار و منافقین نبی صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کے بارے میں کہا کرتے تھے ۔ وَاِنْ تُصِبْہُمْ سَیِّئَۃٌ یَقُوْلُوْ اھٰذِہ مِنْ عِنْدِ کَ، ’’ اگر انہیں کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تمہاری بدولت ہے ‘‘ (النساء:77)۔ اسی لیے قرآن مجید میں متعدّد مقامات پر ان لوگوں کو بتایا گیا ہے کہ ایسی ہی جاہلانہ باتیں قدیم زمانے کے لوگ بھی اپنے انبیاء کے متعلق کہتے رہے ہیں۔ قوم تمود اپنے نبی سے کہتی تھی اِطَّیَّرْنَا بِکَ وَ بِمَنْ مَّعَکَ، ’’ ہم نے تم کو اور تمہارے ساتھیوں کو منحوس پایا ہے ۔‘‘ (النمل : 47) اور یہی رویّہ فرعون کی قوم کا بھی تھا کہ فَاِذَ ا جَآءَ تْھُمُ الْحَسَنَۃُ قَا لُوْ الَنَا ھٰذِہ وَاِنْتُصِبْہُمْ سَیِّئَۃٌ یَطَیَّرُ وْ بِمُسٰی وَمَنْ مُعَہٗ۔ ’’ جب ان پر اچھی حالت آتی تو کہتے کہ یہ ہماری خوش نصیبی ہے ، اور اگر کوئی مصیبت ان پر آ پڑتی تو اسے موسیٰؑ اور ان کے ساتھیوں کی نحوست قرار دیتے ‘‘ (الا عراف: 130)

نہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں تم سے نحوست کا اندیشہ ہے گر تم باز نہ آئے تو ہم ضرور تمہیں سنگسار کردیں گے اور تمہیں ضرور پہنچے گی ہماری طرف سے دردناک سزا

Commentary

آیت 18 { قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا تَطَیَّرْنَا بِکُمْ } ”انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں تم سے نحوست کا اندیشہ ہے۔“ یعنی ہم تمہیں اپنے لیے فالِ بد سمجھتے ہیں۔ تم نے آکر ہمارے معبودوں کے خلاف جو باتیں کرنی شروع کردی ہیں ان کی وجہ سے ہمیں اندیشہ ہے کہ اس کی نحوست کہیں ہم پر نہ پڑجائے اور اس کی پاداش میں کہیں ہم خدا کی گرفت میں نہ آجائیں۔ { لَئِنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَہُوْا لَنَرْجُمَنَّکُمْ } ”اگر تم باز نہ آئے تو ہم ضرور تمہیں سنگسار کردیں گے“ { وَلَیَمَسَّنَّکُمْ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِیْمٌ } ”اور تمہیں ضرور پہنچے گی ہماری طرف سے دردناک سزا۔“
