  1. اِنَّبیشک
  2. اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
  3. یُمْسِكُتھامے ہوئے ہے
  4. السَّمٰوٰتِآسمانوں کو
  5. وَالْاَرْضَاور زمین کو
  6. اَنْکہ
  7. تَزُوْلَا ۚ۬ٹل جائیں گے
  8. وَلَىِٕنْاور اگر
  9. زَالَتَاۤوہ دونوں ٹل جائیں
  10. اِنْنہیں
  11. اَمْسَكَهُمَاان دونوں کو تھامنے والا
  12. مِنْکوئی
  13. اَحَدٍایک
  14. مِّنْسے
  15. بَعْدِهٖ ؕاس کے بعد
  16. اِنَّهٗبیشک وہ
  17. كَانَہے
  18. حَلِیْمًاحلم والا
  19. غَفُوْرًابخشنے والا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ ہی ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین کو ٹل جانے سے روکے ہوئے ہے، اور  اگر وہ ٹل جائیں تو اللہ کے بعد کوئی دُوسرا  انہیں تھامنے والا نہیں ہے۔1 بے شک اللہ بڑا حلیم اور درگزر فرمانے والا ہے۔2

  1.  یعنی یہ اتھاہ کائنات اللہ تعالیٰ کے  قائم رکھنے سے قائم ہے۔ کوئی فرشتہ یا جن یا نبی یا ولی اس کو سنبھالے ہوئے نہیں ہے۔ کائنات کو سنبھالنا تو در کنار، یہ بے بس بند ے تو اپنے وجود کے سنبھالنے پر بھی قادر نہیں۔ ہر ایک اپنی پیدائش اور اپنے بقاء کے لیے ہر آن اللہ جلّ شانہ کا محتاج ہے۔ ان میں سے کسی کے متعلق یہ سمجھنا کہ خدائی کی صفات اور اختیارات میں اس کا کوئی حصہ ہے خالص حماقت اور فریب خوردگی کے سوا اور کیا ہو سکتا ہے۔

  2.  یعنی یہ سراسر اللہ کا حِلم اور اس کی چشم پوشی ہے کہ اتنی بڑی گستاخیاں اس کی جناب میں کی جا رہی ہیں اور پھر بھی وہ سزا دینے میں جلدی نہیں کر رہا ہے۔
