Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اِس سے پہلے یہ کُفر کر چکے تھےاور بلا تحقیق دُور دُور کی کوڑیاں لایا کرتے تھے1

  1.  یعنی رسُولؐ اور تعلیمات رسولؐ اور اہل ایمان پر طرح طرح کے الزامات لگاتے، آوازے کستے اور فقرے چُست کرتے تھے۔ کبھی کہتے یہ شخص ساحر ہے۔ کبھی کہتے مجنون ہے۔ کبھی توحید کا مذاق اڑاتے اور کبھی آخرت کے تخیل پر  باتیں چھانٹتے۔ کبھی یہ افسانہ تراشتے کہ رسولؐ کو کوئی اور سکھاتا پڑھاتا ہے اور کبھی ایمان لانے والوں کے متعلق کہتے کہ یہ محض اپنی نادانی کی وجہ سے رسولؐ کے پیچھے لگ گئے ہیں۔

اور پہلے تو انہوں نے اس کا کفر کیا تھا اور وہ (اٹکل کے) تیر ُ تکے چلاتے رہے بن دیکھے دور کی جگہ سے

Commentary

آیت 53 { وَّقَدْ کَفَرُوْا بِہٖ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَیَقْذِفُوْنَ بِالْغَیْبِ مِنْ مَّکَانٍ بَعِیْدٍ } ”اور پہلے تو انہوں نے اس کا کفر کیا تھا ‘ اور وہ اٹکل کے تیر ُ تکے ّچلاتے رہے بن دیکھے دور کی جگہ سے۔“ اپنی دنیا کی زندگی میں تو وہ اندھیرے میں ٹامک ٹوئیاں مارتے رہے۔ اللہ کے رسول ﷺ کے بارے میں کبھی کہتے کہ یہ جھوٹ بول رہے ہیں ‘ کبھی کہتے ہیں کہ یہ شاعر ہیں اور یہ ان کا اپنا کلام ہے ‘ کبھی کہتے کہ انہوں نے گھر میں کوئی آدمی چھپا رکھا ہے جو انہیں یہ سب کچھ سکھاتا ہے۔ کبھی کہتے کہ ان پر ِجن آگیا ہے۔ بہر حال جب ان کے سوچنے اور ایمان لانے کا موقع تھا اس وقت تو وہ قرآن اور اللہ کے رسول ﷺ کا انکار کرتے رہے اور ان کے بارے میں بغیر کسی علمی اور عقلی دلیل کے یا وہ گوئی کرتے رہے۔ اب جبکہ حساب کی گھڑی آن پہنچی ہے تو اب ان کے ایمان لانے کا کیا فائدہ ؟
