  1. وَكَذَّبَاور جھٹلایا
  2. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں نے
  3. مِنْسے
  4. قَبْلِهِمْ ۙجو ان سے پہلے تھے
  5. وَمَااور نہیں
  6. بَلَغُوْاوہ پہنچے
  7. مِعْشَارَدسویں حصے کو
  8. مَاۤجو
  9. اٰتَیْنٰهُمْدیا تھا ہم نے ان کو
  10. فَكَذَّبُوْاتو انہوں نے جھٹلا دیا
  11. رُسُلِیْ ۫میرے رسولوں کو
  12. فَكَیْفَتو کس طرح
  13. كَانَہوا
  14. نَكِیْرِمیرا عذاب

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اِن سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے لوگ جھُٹلا چکے ہیں۔ جو کچھ ہم نے اُنہیں دیا تھا اُس کی عُشرِ عَشیر کو بھی یہ نہیں پہنچے ہیں۔ مگر جب انہوں نے میرے رسُولوں کو جھُٹلایا تو دیکھ لو کہ میری سزا کیسی سخت تھی۔ 1

  1.  یعنی مکے کے لوگ تو اس قوت و شوکت اور اس خوشحالی کے عُشر عشیر کو بھی نہیں پہنچے ہیں جو ان قوموں کو حاصل تھی۔ مگر دیکھ لو کہ جب انہوں نے ان حقائق کو ماننے سے انکار کیا جو انبیاء علیہم السلام نے ان کے سامنے پیش کیے تھے، اور باطل پر اپنے نظام زندگی کی بنیاد رکھی تو آخر کار وہ کس طرح تباہ ہوئیں اور ان کی قوت و دولت ان کے کسی کام نہ آسکی۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور ان لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا جو ان سے پہلے تھے اور یہ تو اس کے دسویں حصے کو بھی نہیں پہنچے جو کچھ ہم نے انہیں دے رکھا تھا تو انہوں نے میرے رسولوں ؑ کو جھٹلایا پس کیسی رہی (ان کے لیے) میری پکڑ

Commentary

آیت 45 { وَکَذَّبَ الَّذِیْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِہِمْ } ”اور ان لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا جو ان سے پہلے تھے“ { وَمَا بَلَغُوْا مِعْشَارَ مَـآ اٰتَـیْنٰہُمْ } ”اور یہ تو اس کے دسویں حصے کو بھی نہیں پہنچے جو کچھ ہم نے انہیں دے رکھا تھا“ مثلاً قوم عاد کو جو شان و شوکت عطا ہوئی تھی اور اپنے علاقے میں جیسا ان کا رعب ودبدبہ تھا قریش مکہ کو تو اس کا ُ عشر عشیر بھی حاصل نہیں ہے۔ { فَکَذَّبُوْا رُسُلِیْقف فَکَیْفَ کَانَ نَـکِیْرِ } ”تو انہوں نے میرے رسولوں علیہ السلام کو جھٹلایا ‘ پس کیسی رہی ان کے لیے میری پکڑ !“
