  1. وَمَاۤاور نہیں
  2. اٰتَیْنٰهُمْدیں ہم نے ان کو
  3. مِّنْکوئی
  4. كُتُبٍکتابیں
  5. یَّدْرُسُوْنَهَاوہ پڑھتے ہوں ان کو
  6. وَمَاۤاور نہیں
  7. اَرْسَلْنَاۤبھیجا ہم نے
  8. اِلَیْهِمْان کی طرف
  9. قَبْلَكَآپ سے پہلے
  10. مِنْسے
  11. نَّذِیْرٍکوئی ڈرانے والا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

حالانکہ نہ ہم نے اِن لوگوں کو پہلے کوئی کتاب دی تھی کہ یہ اسے پڑھتے ہوں اور نہ تم سے پہلے ان کی طرف کوئی متنبّہ کرنے والا بھیجا تھا۔1

  1.  یعنی اس سے پہلے نہ کوئی کتاب خدا کی طرف سے ایسی آئی ہے اور نہ کوئی رسول ایسا آیا ہے جس نے آ کر ان کو یہ تعلیم دی ہو کہ یہ اللہ کے سوا دوسروں کی بندگی و پرستش کیا کریں۔ اس لیے یہ لوگ کسی علم کی بنا پر نہیں بلکہ سراسر  جہالت کی بنا پر قرآن اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کی دعوتِ توحید کا انکار کر رہے ہیں۔ اس کے لیے ان کے پاس کوئی سند نہیں ہے۔
