اور (اے نبی ﷺ !) ہم نے نہیں بھیجا ہے آپ کو مگر تمام بنی نوع انسانی کے لیے بشیر اور نذیر بنا کر لیکن اکثر لوگ جانتے نہیں ہیں۔

Commentary
آیت 28 { وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنٰکَ اِلَّا کَآفَّۃً لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِیْرًا وَّنَذِیْرًا } ”اور اے نبی ﷺ ! ہم نے نہیں بھیجا ہے آپ کو مگر تمام بنی نوع انسانی کے لیے بشیر اور نذیر بنا کر“ تمام انبیاء و رسل علیہ السلام میں یہ اعزاز صرف محمد رسول اللہ ﷺ کے حصے میں آیا کہ آپ ﷺ کو تمام بنی نوع انسانی کی طرف رسول ﷺ بنا کر بھیجا گیا۔ اس سلسلے میں یہ اہم نکتہ بھی نوٹ کیجئے کہ یہ فیصلہ تاریخ انسانی کے اس مرحلے پر کیا گیا جب انسانی تمدن اور ذرائع رسل و رسائل کی ترقی کے باعث آپ ﷺ کی دعوت کو دنیا کے کونے کونے میں ایک ایک شخص تک پہنچانا عملی طور پر ممکن ہونے کے قریب تھا۔ ورنہ اس سے پہلے عملی طور پر کسی نبی یا رسول کی دعوت کو پوری نوع انسانی تک پہنچانا ممکن ہی نہیں تھا۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ آپ ﷺ سے پہلے جتنے بھی پیغمبر آئے وہ مخصوص علاقوں میں ایک ایک قوم کی طرف مبعوث ہو کر آئے۔ اسی لیے آپ ﷺ سے پہلے کے پیغمبروں کی بعثت کا تعارف قرآن حکیم میں اس طرح کرایا گیا ہے : { وَاِلٰی عَادٍ اَخَاہُمْ ہُوْدًاط } ھود : 50 { وَاِلٰی ثَمُوْدَ اَخَاہُمْ صٰلِحًا 7} ھود : 61 ‘ { وَاِلٰی مَدْیَنَ اَخَاہُمْ شُعَیْبًا } ھود : 84۔ لیکن حضور ﷺ کی بعثت کے بارے میں یہاں یوں فرمایا گیا : { وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنٰکَ اِلَّا کَآفَّۃً لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِیْرًا وَّنَذِیْرًا }۔ { وَّلٰـکِنَّ اَکْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ } ”لیکن اکثر لوگ جانتے نہیں ہیں۔“
