اور اس کو ان پر کوئی اختیار حاصل نہیں تھا مگر یہ کہ ہم دیکھ لیں کہ کون ہے جو آخرت پر یقین رکھتا ہے ان لوگوں سے جو اس سے متعلق شک میں ہیں۔ اور آپ کا پروردگار ہرچیز پر نگران ہے۔

Commentary
آیت 21 { وَمَا کَانَ لَہٗ عَلَیْہِمْ مِّنْ سُلْطٰنٍ } ”اور اس کو ان پر کوئی اختیار حاصل نہیں تھا“ ابلیس کا انسانوں پر کوئی زور نہیں چلتا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کو صرف مہلت دے رکھی ہے۔ اس مہلت سے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے وہ انسانوں کو حیلے بہانے سے ورغلاتا اور انہیں سبز باغ دکھاتا ہے۔ اس سے زیادہ وہ کچھ نہیں کرسکتا اور اسے یہ مہلت بھی انسانوں کی آزمائش کے لیے دی گئی ہے۔ { اِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَنْ یُّؤْمِنُ بِالْاٰخِرَۃِ } ”مگر یہ کہ ہم دیکھ لیں کہ کون ہے جو آخرت پر یقین رکھتا ہے“ تاکہ آخرت پر ایمان رکھنے والے لوگوں کی پہچان ہوجائے اور انہیں ہم چھانٹ کر الگ کرلیں : { مِمَّنْ ہُوَ مِنْہَا فِیْ شَکٍّ وَرَبُّکَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْئٍ حَفِیْظٌ} ”ان لوگوں سے جو اس سے متعلق شک میں ہیں۔ اور آپ کا پروردگار ہرچیز پر نگران ہے۔“
