  1. لِّیُعَذِّبَتاکہ عذاب دے
  2. اللّٰهُاللہ
  3. الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَمنافق مردوں کو
  4. وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتِاور منافق عورتوں کو
  5. وَالْمُشْرِكِیْنَاور مشرک مردوں کو
  6. وَالْمُشْرِكٰتِاور مشرک عورتوں کو
  7. وَیَتُوْبَاور مہربان ہوجائے
  8. اللّٰهُاللہ
  9. عَلَیپر
  10. الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَمومن مردوں (پر)
  11. وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ ؕاور مومن عورتوں پر
  12. وَكَانَاور ہے
  13. اللّٰهُاللہ تعالیٰ
  14. غَفُوْرًاغفور
  15. رَّحِیْمًارحیم

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اِس بار امانت کو اٹھانے کا لازمی نتیجہ یہ ہے کہ اللہ منافق مردوں اور عورتوں، اور مشرک مردوں اور عورتوں کو سزا دے اور مومن مَردوں اور عورتوں کی توبہ قبول کرے، اللہ درگزر فرمانے والا اور رحیم ہے

Bayan-ul-Quran

تا کہ اللہ عذاب دے منافق مردوں اور منافق عورتوں کو اور مشرک َمردوں اور مشرک عورتوں کو اور اللہ رحمت کے ساتھ توجہ فرمائے مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں پر اور یقینا اللہ بہت بخشنے والا نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

Commentary

آیت 73 { لِّیُعَذِّبَ اللّٰہُ الْمُنٰفِقِیْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتِ وَالْمُشْرِکِیْنَ وَالْمُشْرِکٰتِ } ”تاکہ اللہ عذاب دے منافق مردوں اور منافق عورتوں کو اور مشرک َمردوں اور مشرک عورتوں کو“ { وَیَتُوْبَ اللّٰہُ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ } ”اور اللہ رحمت کے ساتھ توجہ فرمائے مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں پر۔“ آیت کے الفاظ میں ”توبہ قبول فرمائے“ یا ”توبہ کی توفیق عطا فرمائے“ کا مفہوم بھی موجود ہے۔ { وَکَانَ اللّٰہُ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِیْمًا } ”اور یقینا اللہ بہت بخشنے والا ‘ نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔“ سورة الاحزاب مکی مدنی سورتوں کے چوتھے گروپ کی آخری سورت ہے۔ اس گروپ میں آٹھ مکیات سورۃ الفرقان ‘ سورة الشعراء ‘ سورة النمل ‘ سورة القصص ‘ سورة العنکبوت ‘ سورة الروم ‘ سورة لقمان ‘ سورة السجدۃ اور ایک مدنی سورت سورۃ الاحزاب شامل تھی۔ اس کے بعد مکی مدنی سورتوں کا پانچواں گروپ 13 مکی اور تین مدنی سورتوں پر مشتمل ہے۔ یہاں پر ضمنی طور پر مدنی سورتوں کی موجودہ ترتیب اور ترتیب نزولی کے بارے میں چند معلومات بھی نوٹ کرلیں۔ مصحف کی ترتیب میں سورة البقرۃ سے لے کر سورة الاحزاب تک تمام مدنی سورتیں طویل ہیں۔ لیکن سورة الاحزاب کے بعد اکثر مدنی سورتیں 2 رکوعوں پر مشتمل ہیں یا زیادہ سے زیادہ کسی کے چار رکوع ہیں۔ اب تک پڑھی جانے والی مدنی سورتوں کی ترتیب نزولی اس طرح ہے : پہلے سورة البقرۃ ‘ پھر سورة الانفال ‘ پھر سورة آل عمران ‘ پھر سورة النساء ‘ پھر سورة الاحزاب ‘ پھر سورة النور اور آخر میں سورة المائدۃ۔ جبکہ چھوٹی مدنی سورتیں مذکورہ طویل سورتوں کے بین بین میں نازل ہوتی رہی ہیں۔ جیسے سورة الصف سورة الاحزاب کے متصلاً بعد نازل ہوئی اور سورة محمد ﷺ سورة البقرۃ کے فوراً بعد ‘ لیکن غزوہ بدر سے پہلے نازل ہوئی۔
