  1. مِنَمیں سے
  2. الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَایمان لانے والوں
  3. رِجَالٌکچھ لوگ ہیں
  4. صَدَقُوْاانہوں نے سچ کہا۔ سچا کر دکھایا
  5. مَاجو
  6. عَاهَدُواانہوں نے عہد کیا تھا
  7. اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ سے
  8. عَلَیْهِ ۚاس پر
  9. فَمِنْهُمْتو بعض ان میں سے
  10. مَّنْوہ ہے جو
  11. قَضٰیپوری کرچکا
  12. نَحْبَهٗاپنی نذر
  13. وَمِنْهُمْاور بعض ان میں سے
  14. مَّنْجو
  15. یَّنْتَظِرُ ۖؗمنتظر ہے۔ انتظار کر رہا ہے
  16. وَمَااور نہیں
  17. بَدَّلُوْابدلا انہوں نے
  18. تَبْدِیْلًابدل دینا (اپنا عہد)

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ایمان لانے والوں میں ایسے لوگ موجود ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ سے کیے ہوئے عہد کو سچّا کر دکھایا ہے۔ ان میں سے کوئی اپنی نذر پوری کر چکا اور کوئی وقت آنے کا منتظر ہے۔1 انہوں نے اپنے رویےمیں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں کی

Bayan-ul-Quran

اہل ِایمان میں وہ جواں مرد لوگ بھی ہیں جنہوں نے سچا کر دکھایا وہ عہد جو انہوں نے اللہ سے کیا تھا پس ان میں سے کچھ تو اپنی نذر پوری کرچکے اور ان میں سے کچھ انتظار کر رہے ہیں اور انہوں نے ہرگز کوئی تبدیلی نہیں کی

Commentary

آیت 23 { مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوْا مَا عَاہَدُوا اللّٰہَ عَلَیْہِ } ”اہل ِایمان میں وہ جواں مرد لوگ بھی ہیں جنہوں نے سچا کر دکھایا وہ عہد جو انہوں نے اللہ سے کیا تھا۔“ انہوں نے کہا تھا کہ ہمارے مال اور ہماری جانیں اللہ کی راہ میں قربانی کے لیے حاضر ہیں اور انہوں نے اپنا یہ دعویٰ عملی طور پر سچ کر دکھایا۔ { فَمِنْہُمْ مَّنْ قَضٰی نَحْبَہٗ } ”پس ان میں سے کچھ تو اپنی نذر پوری کرچکے“ یہ اشارہ ہے ان صحابہ کرام رض کی طرف جو ان آیات کے نزول 5 ہجری سے پہلے جامِ شہادت نوش کرچکے تھے۔ مثلاً غزوئہ بدر میں چودہ 14 ‘ جبکہ غزوئہ اُحد میں ستر 70 صحابہ رض شہید ہوئے تھے۔ { وَمِنْہُمْ مَّنْ یَّنْتَظِرُز } ”اور ان میں سے کچھ انتظار کر رہے ہیں۔“ باقی منتظر ہیں کہ کب ان کی باری آئے ‘ انہیں جان قربان کرنے کا موقع میسر آئے اور وہ اللہ کے حضور سرخرو ہوں : ؎وبالِ دوش ہے سر جسم ِنا تواں پہ مگر لگا رکھا ہے ترے خنجر و سناں کے لیے ! { وَمَا بَدَّلُوْا تَبْدِیْلًا } ”اور انہوں نے ہرگز کوئی تبدیلی نہیں کی۔“ اللہ سے جو عہد انہوں نے پہلے دن سے کر رکھا ہے آج بھی وہ اس پر قائم ہیں اور اس میں انہوں نے سرمو فرق نہیں آنے دیا۔
