Commentary
آیت 18 { قَدْ یَعْلَمُ اللّٰہُ الْمُعَوِّقِیْنَ مِنْکُمْ } ”اللہ خوب جانتا ہے تم میں سے ان لوگوں کو جو روکنے والے ہیں“ جیسا کہ قبل ازیں وضاحت کی جا چکی ہے کہ مدینہ کی دو اطراف تو قدرتی رکاوٹوں کی وجہ سے محفوظ تھیں ‘ جبکہ عقب میں بنو قریظہ کی گڑھیاں تھیں اور جب تک انہوں نے معاہدے کی اعلانیہ خلاف ورزی نہیں کی تھی تب تک ان کی طرف سے بھی بظاہر کوئی خطرہ نہیں تھا۔ چناچہ مسلمانوں کی اکثریت حملہ آور لشکر کے سامنے خندق کی اندرونی جانب مورچہ بند تھی اور جنگ کا اصل محاذ وہی مقام تھا۔ منافقین نہ صرف خود اس محاذ کی طرف جانے سے کتراتے تھے بلکہ دوسروں کو بھی روکتے تھے کہ اس طرف مت جائو۔ { وَالْقَآئِلِیْنَ لِاِخْوَانِہِمْ ہَلُمَّ اِلَیْنَاج } ”اور اپنے بھائیوں سے یہ کہنے والے ہیں کہ ہماری طرف آ جائو !“ وہ اپنے دوسرے بھائی بندوں کو بھی ناصحانہ انداز میں سمجھاتے تھے کہ ہمارے پاس آ جائو اور ہماری طرح تم بھی اپنے گھروں میں چھپے رہو اور محاذ کی طرف مت جائو۔ { وَلَا یَاْتُوْنَ الْبَاْسَ اِلَّا قَلِیْلًا } ”اور وہ نہیں آتے جنگ کی طرف مگر بہت تھوڑی دیر کے لیے۔“ اگر وہ دکھاوے کے لیے محاذ جنگ پر آتے بھی تھے تو حیلے بہانوں سے واپس جانے کی فکر میں رہتے تھے۔
