Surah 33, ayah 15

  1. وَلَقَدْاور البتہ تحقیق
  2. كَانُوْاانہوں نے
  3. عَاهَدُواعہد کیا تھا
  4. اللّٰهَاللہ سے
  5. مِنْاس سے
  6. قَبْلُپہلے
  7. لَانہیں
  8. یُوَلُّوْنَوہ پھیریں گے
  9. الْاَدْبَارَ ؕپیٹھیں
  10. وَكَانَاور ہے
  11. عَهْدُعہد
  12. اللّٰهِاللہ کا
  13. مَسْـُٔوْلًاپوچھا جانے والا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ن لوگوں نے اس سے پہلے اللہ سے عہد کیا تھا کہ یہ پیٹھ نہ پھیریں گے، اور اور اللہ سے کیے ہوئے عہد کی باز پُرس تو ہونی ہی تھی۔1

  1. یعنی جنگِ اُحُد کی موقع پر جو کمزوری انہوں نے دکھائی تھی اس کی بعد شرمندگی و ندامت کا اظہار کر کے ان لوگوں نے اللہ سے عہد کیا تھا کہ اب آزمائش کا کوئی موقع پیش آیا تو ہم اپنے اس قصور کی تلافی کر دیں گے۔ لیکن اللہ تعالیٰ کو محض باتوں سے دھوکا نہیں دیا جا سکتا۔ جو شخص بھی اُس سے کوئی عہد باندھتے اُس کے سامنے کوئی نہ کوئی آزمائش کا موقع وہ ضرور لے آتا ہے تاکہ اس کا جھوٹ سچ کھل جائے۔ اس لیے وہ جنگ عہد  کے دو ہی سال بعد اُس سے بھی زیادہ بڑا خطرہ سامنے لے آیا۔
