کیا یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس (محمد ﷺ نے اسے خود گھڑ لیا ہے ؟ (نہیں !) بلکہ یہ حق ہے آپ ﷺ کے رب کی طرف سے تاکہ آپ ﷺ خبردار کریں اس قوم کو جس کے پاس آپ ﷺ سے پہلے کوئی خبردار کرنے والا نہیں آیا شاید کہ وہ ہدایت پائیں

Commentary
آیت 3 اَمْ یَقُوْلُوْنَ افْتَرٰٹہُ ج بَلْ ہُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّکَ لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّآ اَتٰٹہُمْ مِّنْ نَّذِیْرٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِکَ لَعَلَّہُمْ یَہْتَدُوْنَ ”اہل مکہ حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام کی اولاد میں سے تھے۔ ان کے لیے حضرت اسماعیل علیہ السلام سے لے کر حضور ﷺ تک طویل عرصے کے دوران کوئی نبی یا رسول نہیں آیا۔ اس آیت میں اسی حقیقت کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔
