  12. تَاْكُلُکھاتے ہیں

  14. اَنْعَامُهُمْان کے مویشی
  15. وَاَنْفُسُهُمْ ؕاور ان کے نفس (خود بھی)
  16. اَفَلَاکیا بھلا نہیں ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور کیا ان لوگوں نے یہ منظر کبھی نہیں دیکھاکہ ہم ایک آب و گیاہ زمین کی طرف پانی بہا لاتے ہیں، اور پھر اسی زمین سے وہ فصل اُگاتے ہیں جس سے ان کے جانوروں کو بھی چارہ ملتا ہے اور یہ خود بھی کھاتے ہیں؟تو کیا انھیں کچھ نہیں سُوجھتا؟1

  1. سیاق و سباق کو نگاہ میں رکھنے سے صاف محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ یہاں یہ ذکر حیات بعدالموت پر استدلال کرنے کے لیے نہیں کیا گیا ہے ، جیسا کہ قرآن میں بالعموم ہوتا ہے ،بلکہ اِس سلسلۂ کلام میں یہ بات ایک اور ہی مقصد کے لیے فرمائی گئی ہے ۔ ا س   میں دراصل ایک لطیف اشارہ ہے اس بات کی طرف کہ جس طرح ایک بنجر پڑی ہوئی زمین کو دیکھ کر آدمی یہ گمان نہیں کر سکتا کہ یہ بھی کبھی لہلہاتی کشت زار بن جائے گی، مگر خدا کی بھیجی ہوئی برسات کا ایک ہی ریلا اس کا رنگ بدل دیتا ہے ، اُسی طرح یہ دعوتِ اسلام بھی اِس وقت تم کو ایک نہ چلنے والی چیز نظر آتی ہے ، لیکن خدا کی قدرت کا ایک ہی کرشمہ اس کو وہ فروغ دے گا کہ تم دنگ رہ جاؤ گے ۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

کیا انہوں نے دیکھا نہیں کہ ہم پانی کو ہانک کرلے جاتے ہیں بےآب وگیاہ زمین کی طرف پھر ہم اس سے کھیتی اگاتے ہیں جس میں سے کھاتے ہیں ان کے مویشی بھی اور یہ خود بھی۔ تو کیا یہ لوگ دیکھتے نہیں ہیں !

آیت 26 اَوَلَمْ یَہْدِ لَہُمْ کَمْ اَہْلَکْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِہِمْ مِّنَ الْقُرُوْنِ یَمْشُوْنَ فِیْ مَسٰکِنِہِمْ ط۔قریش کے قافلے اپنے سفر شام کے دوران میں قوم ثمود کی بستیوں کے کھنڈرات کے پاس سے گزرتے تھے اور یہاں یَمْشُوْنَ فِیْ مَسٰکِنِہِمْ کے الفاظ میں دراصل اسی طرف اشارہ ہے۔ یعنی یہ لوگ ان بستیوں کی تباہی کی خود تصدیق کرچکے ہیں۔ حال ہی میں کچھ برطانوی محققین نے بحر مردار Dead Sea کے ساحل کے ساتھ پانی کے نیچے قوم لوط کی بستیوں کے آثار کی نشان دہی کر کے اس بارے میں تورات اور قرآن کے بیانات کی تصدیق کی ہے۔ ان بستیوں کے بارے میں میرا خیال یہی تھا کہ وہ سمندر کے اندر آچکی ہیں اور متعلقہ سمندر کو شاید Dead Sea کا نام بھی اسی لیے دیا گیا ہے کہ اس کے نیچے ان شہروں کے باسیوں کی اجتماعی قبریں ہیں۔ مستقبل میں سائنس کی ترقی کے باعث قرآن میں دی گئی اس نوعیت کی بہت سی معلومات کے حوالے سے مزید انکشافات کی بھی امید ہے۔
