Tafheem-ul-Quran
اور کیا ان لوگوں کو (اِن تاریخی واقعات میں)کوئی ہدایت نہیں ملی کہ ان سے پہلے کتنی قوموں کو ہم ہلاک کر چکے ہیں جن کے رہنے کی جگہوں میں آج یہ چلتے پھرتے ہیں؟1 اس میں بڑی نشانیاں ہیں، کیا یہ سُنتے نہیں ہیں؟

یعنی کیا تاریخ کے اس مسلسل تجربے سے ان لوگوں نے کوئی سبق نہیں لیا کہ جس قوم میں بھی خدا کا رسول آیا ہے اس کی قسمت کا فیصلہ اس رویّے کے ساتھ معلق ہو گیا ہے جو اپنے رسول کے معاملہ میں اس نے اختیار کیا ۔ رسول کو جھٹلا دینے کے بعد پھر کوئی قوم بچ نہیں سکی ہے ۔ اس میں سے بچے ہیں تو صرف وہی لوگ جو اس پر ایمان لائے ۔ انکار کر دینے والے ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لئے سامانِ عبرت بن کر رہ گئے ۔
