- تَتَجَافٰیالگ رہتے ہیں

(راتوں کو) ان کے پہلو بستروں سے الگ رہتے ہیں وہ اپنے رب کو پکارتے رہتے ہیں خوف اور امید کی کیفیت میں اور جو کچھ ہم نے انہیں دیا ہے اس میں سے (ہماری رضا جوئی کے لیے) خرچ کرتے ہیں

Commentary
آیت 16 تَتَجَافٰی جُنُوْبُہُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ سورۃ الفرقان میں اللہ کے نیک بندوں کے اس خاص معمول کا ذکر ان الفاظ میں ہوا ہے : وَالَّذِیْنَ یَبِیْتُوْنَ لِرَبِّہِمْ سُجَّدًا وَّقِیَامًا اور وہ لوگ راتیں بسر کرتے ہیں اپنے رب کے لیے سجدے اور قیام کرتے ہوئے۔ یعنی ایک طرف تو وہ لوگ ہیں جو ساری ساری رات غفلت کی نیند سوتے رہتے ہیں اور دوسری طرف اللہ کے یہ بندے ہیں جو راتوں کو اٹھ اٹھ کر اللہ کو یاد کرتے ہیں ‘ کبھی اس کے حضور قیام کر کے اور کبھی سجدے میں گر کر۔یَدْعُوْنَ رَبَّہُمْ خَوْفًا وَّطَمَعًاز ایک طرف تو وہ اللہ کی رحمت اور مغفرت کے بارے میں پر امید ہوتے ہیں جبکہ دوسری طرف اپنی کوتاہیوں پر پکڑے جانے کا خوف بھی انہیں لاحق رہتا ہے۔
