Surah 31, ayah 22

  1. وَمَنْاور جو
  2. یُّسْلِمْحوالے کردے
  3. وَجْهَهٗۤاپنی ذات کو
  4. اِلَیطرف
  5. اللّٰهِاللہ کی
  6. وَهُوَاور وہ
  7. مُحْسِنٌمحسن بھی ہو
  8. فَقَدِتو یقینا اس نے
  9. اسْتَمْسَكَتھام لیا
  10. بِالْعُرْوَةِمضبوط
  11. الْوُثْقٰی ؕکڑا
  12. وَاِلَیاور طرف
  13. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  14. عَاقِبَةُانجام ہے
  15. الْاُمُوْرِسب کاموں کا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جو شخص اپنے آپ کو اللہ کے حوالہ  کر دے1 اور عملاً وہ نیک ہو2 ،  اس نے فی الواقع  ایک بھروسے کے قابل سہارا تھام لیا3 ، اور سارے معاملا ت کا آخری فیصلہ اللہ ہی کے ہاتھ ہے

  1. یعنی پوری طرح اپنے آپ کو اللہ کی بندگی میں دے دے ۔ اپنی کوئی چیز اس کی بندگی سے مستثنیٰ کر کے نہ رکھے ۔ اپنے سارے معاملات اس کے سپرد کر دے اور اسی کی دی ہوئی ہدایات کو اپنی پوری زندگی کاگ قانون بنائے ۔

  2. یعنی ایسا نہ ہو کہ زبان سے تو وہ حوالگی و سپردگی کا اعلان کر دے مگر عملاً وہ رویہ اختیار نہ کرے جو خدا کے ایک مطیع فرمان بندے کا ہونا چاہیے ۔

  3. یعنی نہ اس کو اس بات کا کوئی خطرہ کہ اسے غلط رہنمائی ملے گی، نہ ا س بات کا کوئی اندیشہ کہ خدا کی بندگی کر کے اس کا انجام خراب ہو گا۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور جس شخص نے اپنا چہرہ اللہ کے سامنے جھکا دیا اور وہ احسان کی روش اختیار کرنے والا بھی ہو تو اس نے تھام لیا مضبوط حلقے کو اور تمام معاملات کا انجام اللہ ہی کے ہاتھ میں ہے

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 31:22, 31:23)

فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَکَ بالْعُرْوَۃِ الْوُثْقٰی ط ”اَلْعُرْوَۃُ الْوُثْقٰی مضبوط کنڈا یا حلقہ سے مراد اللہ کا تعلق اور اس کا سہارا ہے۔ اس مضبوط سہارے کو تھامنے کا ذکر اس سے پہلے سورة البقرۃ کی آیت 256 میں اس طرح آیا ہے : فَمَنْ یَّکْفُرْ بالطَّاغُوْتِ وَیُؤْمِنْم باللّٰہِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَکَ بالْعُرْوَۃِ الْوُثْقٰیق لاَ انْفِصَامَ لَھَا ط ”اور جو کوئی انکار کرے طاغوت کا اور ایمان لائے اللہ پر اس نے تو ایسا مضبوط حلقہ تھام لیا جو کبھی ٹوٹنے والا نہیں ہے۔“
