Commentary
آیت 6 وَعْدَ اللّٰہِط لَا یُخْلِفُ اللّٰہُ وَعْدَہٗ وَلٰکِنَّ اَکْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ ”یہ وہ چھ آیات ہیں جن میں رومیوں کے دوبارہ غلبے اور اہل ایمان کی مشرکین مکہ پر فتح کی پیشین گوئی کی گئی ہے۔ یہ آیات تقریباً 614 ء میں نازل ہوئیں۔ نبی اکرم ﷺ پر وحی کا آغاز 610 ء میں ہوا تھا۔ چناچہ ان آیات کے نزول کے وقت آپ ﷺ کی دعوت کو پانچ برس کا عرصہ بیت چکا تھا۔ اس کے ٹھیک نو 9 برس بعد اس پیشین گوئی کے عین مطابق رومی بھی ایرانیوں پر غالب آگئے اور غزوۂ بدر میں مسلمانوں کو بھی اللہ کی مدد سے فتح نصیب ہوئی۔
