اور (اس وقت) کہیں گے وہ لوگ جنہیں علم اور ایمان عطا کیا گیا تھا کہ تم ٹھہرے ہو اللہ کے فیصلے کے مطابق دوبارہ اٹھنے کے دن تک تو یہ ہے یوم بعث لیکن تم لوگ تو علم ہی نہیں رکھتے تھے

Commentary
آیت 56 وَقَالَ الَّذِیْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ وَالْاِیْمَانَ لَقَدْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِیْ کِتٰبِ اللّٰہِ اِلٰی یَوْمِ الْبَعْثِز ”تب اہل علم اور صاحب ایمان لوگ انہیں بتائیں گے کہ اے بدبختو ! تم جسے ایک گھڑی کہہ رہے ہو وہ دراصل عالم برزخ کا طویل عرصہ تھا جو اللہ کے فیصلے کے مطابق تم پر گزرا۔ ظاہر ہے ایک شخص اگر آج سے پانچ ہزار سال قبل فوت ہو اتھا تو آج تک وہ عالم برزخ میں ہی ہے اور نہ معلوم قیامت تک اور کتنا عرصہ وہ مزید وہاں رہے گا۔ اور یوم بعث کب آئے گا ؟ اس کا علم بھی اللہ ہی کو ہے۔ چناچہ انہیں بتایا جائے گا کہ تم لوگ اللہ کے حساب اور اس کے فیصلے کے مطابق یوم بعث تک وہاں رہے ہو۔فَہٰذَا یَوْمُ الْبَعْثِ وَلٰکِنَّکُمْ کُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ”ابھی تمہاری آنکھ کھلی ہے تو تم یوم بعث کا یہ منظر اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھ رہے ہو ‘ مگر دنیا میں تو تم لوگوں نے آخرت کی زندگی اور اس دن کے بارے میں کبھی غور کرنا پسند ہی نہیں کیا تھا۔
