  1. وَاِنَّاور بیشک
  2. مِنْهُمْان میں سے
  3. لَفَرِیْقًاالبتہ ایک گروہ ہے
  4. یَّلْوٗنَوہ ڈرتے ہیں
  5. اَلْسِنَتَهُمْاپنی زبانوں کو
  6. بِالْكِتٰبِساتھ کتاب کے
  7. لِتَحْسَبُوْهُتاکہ تم سمجھ اس کو
  8. مِنَمیں سے
  9. الْكِتٰبِکتاب
  10. وَمَااور نہیں
  11. هُوَوہ
  12. مِنَمیں سے
  13. الْكِتٰبِ ۚکتاب
  14. وَیَقُوْلُوْنَاور وہ کہتے ہیں
  15. هُوَوہ سے
  16. مِنْ(سے) ہے
  17. عِنْدِپاس
  18. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  19. وَمَااور نہیں
  20. هُوَوہ
  21. مِنْسے
  22. عِنْدِپاس سے
  23. اللّٰهِ ۚاللہ کے
  24. وَیَقُوْلُوْنَکہتے ہیں
  25. عَلَیپر
  26. اللّٰهِاللہ
  27. الْكَذِبَجھوٹ
  28. وَهُمْاور وہ
  29. یَعْلَمُوْنَجانتے ہیں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ان میں کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں جو کتاب پڑھتے ہوئے اس طرح زبان کا اُلٹ پھیر کرتے ہیں کہ تم سمجھو جو کچھ وہ پڑھ رہے ہیں وہ کتاب ہی کی عبارت ہے، حالانکہ وہ کتاب کی عبارت نہیں ہوتی،1 وہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ جو کچھ ہم پڑھ رہے ہیں یہ خدا کی طرف سے ہے، حالانکہ وہ خدا کی طرف سے نہیں ہوتا، وہ جا ن بوجھ کر جھوٹ بات اللہ کی طرف منسوب کر دیتے ہیں

  1. “اس کا مطلب اگرچہ یہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ وہ کتابِ الٰہی کے معانی میں تحریف کرتے ہیں، یا الفاظ کا اُلٹ پھیر کر کے  کچھ سے کچھ مطلب نکالتے ہیں، لیکن اس کا ایک مطلب یہ ہے کہ وہ کتاب کو پڑھتے ہوئے کسی خاص لفظ یا فقرے کو، جو اُن کے مفاد یا اُن کے خود ساختہ عقائد و نظریات کے خلاف پڑتا ہو، زبان کی گردش سے کچھ کا کچھ بنا دیتے ہیں۔ اس کی نظیریں قرآن کو ماننے والے اہلِ کتاب میں بھی مفقود نہیں ہیں۔ مثلاً بعض لوگ جو نبی کی بشریّت کے منکر ہیں آیت  قُلْ اِنَّمَآ اَنَا بَشَرٌمِّثْلُکُمْ میں اِنَّمَا  کو  اِنَّ  مَا   پڑھتے ہیں اور اس کا ترجمہ یوں کرتے ہیں کہ”اے نبی!کہہ دو کہ تحقیق نہیں ہوں میں بشر تم جیسا“۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور ان میں ایک گروہ ایسا بھی ہے جو اپنی زبان کو توڑتا مروڑتا ہے کتاب کو پڑھتے ہوئے تاکہ تم سمجھو کہ (جو کچھ وہ پڑھ رہے ہیں) وہ کتاب میں سے ہے حالانکہ وہ کتاب میں سے نہیں ہوتا اور وہ کہتے ہیں یہ اللہ کی طرف سے ہے جبکہ وہ اللہ کی طرف سے نہیں ہوتا اور وہ اللہ پر جھوٹ باندھتے ہیں جانتے بوجھتے

Commentary

آیت 78 وَاِنَّ مِنْہُمْ لَفَرِیْقًا یَّلْوٗنَ اَلْسِنَتَہُمْ بالْکِتٰبِ لِتَحْسَبُوْہُ مِنَ الْکِتٰبِ وَمَا ہُوَ مِنَ الْکِتٰبِ ج۔علماء یہود الفاظ کو ذرا سا ادھر سے ادھر مروڑ کر اور معنی پیدا کرلیتے تھے۔ ہم سورة البقرۃ میں پڑھ چکے ہیں کہ یہود سے کہا گیا حِطَّۃٌکہو تو حِنْطَۃٌکہنے لگے۔ یعنی بجائے اس کے کہ اے اللہ ہمارے گناہ جھاڑ دے انہوں نے کہنا شروع کردیا ہمیں گیہوں دے۔ انہیں تلقین کی گئی کہ تم کہو : سَمِعْنَا وَاَطَعْنَا مگر انہوں نے کہا : سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَیْنَا۔ اسی طرح کا معاملہ وہ تورات کو پڑھتے ہوئے بھی کرتے تھے۔ جب وہ دیکھتے کہ جو سائل فتویٰ مانگنے آیا ہے اس کی پسند کچھ اور ہے جبکہ تورات کا حکم کچھ اور ہے تو وہ الفاظ کو توڑ مروڑ کر پڑھ دیتے کہ دیکھو یہ کتاب کے اندر موجود ہے ‘ اور اس طرح سائل کو خوش کر کے اس سے کچھ رقم حاصل کرلیتے۔ وَیَقُوْلُوْنَ ہُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰہِ وَمَا ہُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰہِ ج ہم یہ مضمون سورة البقرۃ آیت 79 میں بھی پڑھ چکے ہیں۔
