Surah 3, ayah 70

  1. یٰۤاَهْلَاے اہل
  2. الْكِتٰبِکتاب
  3. لِمَکیوں
  4. تَكْفُرُوْنَتم کفر کرتے ہو
  5. بِاٰیٰتِآیات کے ساتھ
  6. اللّٰهِاللہ کی
  7. وَاَنْتُمْحالانکہ تم
  8. تَشْهَدُوْنَتم گواہ ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے اہل کتاب! کیوں اللہ کی آیات کا انکار کرتے ہو حالانکہ تم خود ان کا مشاہدہ کر رہے ہو؟1

  1. :دوسرا ترجمہ اس فقرہ کا یہ بھی  ہو سکتا ہے کہ ”تم خود گواہی دیتے ہو“۔ دونوں صُورتوں میں نفسِ معنی پر کوئی اثر نہیں پڑتا۔ دراصل نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی پاکیزہ زندگی، اور صحابہٴ  کرام کی زندگیوں پر آپ کی تعلیم و تربیت کے حیرت انگیز اثرات ، اور وہ بلند پایہ مضامین جو قران میں ارشاد ہورہے تھے، یہ ساری چیزیں اللہ تعالیٰ کی ایسی روشن آیات تھیں کہ  جو شخص انبیا کے احوال اور کتبِ آسمانی کے طرز سے واقف ہو اس کے لیے ان آیات کو دیکھ کر آنحضرت کی نبوّت میں شک کرنا بہت ہی مشکل تھا۔ چنانچہ یہ واقعہ ہے کہ بہت سے اہلِ کتاب(خصُوصاً ان کے اہلِ علم) یہ جان چکے تھے کہ حضور وہی نبی ہیں جن کی آمد کا وعدہ انبیا سے سابقین نے کیا تھا ، حتٰی کہ کبھی کبھی حق کی زبر دست طاقت سے مجبُور ہو کر ان کی زبانیں آپ کی صداقت اور آپ کی پیش کردہ تعلیم کے برحق ہونے کا اعتراف تک کر گزرتی تھیں۔اسی وجہ سے قرآن باربار ان کو الزام دیتا ہے کہ اللہ کی جن آیات کو تم آنکھوں سے دیکھ رہے ہو، جن کی حقانیت پر تم خود گواہی دیتے ہو ان کو تم قصداً اپنے نفس کی شرارت سے جھٹلا رہے  ہو۔

اے اہل کتاب ! تم کیوں اللہ تعالیٰ کی آیات کا انکار کرتے ہو جبکہ تم خود گواہ ہو ؟

Commentary

آیت 70 یٰٓاََہْلَ الْکِتٰبِ لِمَ تَکْفُرُوْنَ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ وَاَنْتُمْ تَشْہَدُوْنَ تم قرآن اور صاحب قرآن ﷺ کی حقانیت کے قائل ہو ‘ ان کو پہچان چکے ہو ‘ دل میں جان چکے ہو !
