- هٰۤاَنْتُمْہاں تم
- هٰۤؤُلَآءِوہ لوگ ہو
- حَاجَجْتُمْبحثیں کیں تم نے
- فِیْمَااس معاملے میں
- لَكُمْجو تمہارے لیے
- بِهٖہے
- عِلْمٌعلم
- فَلِمَتو کیوں
- تُحَآجُّوْنَتم جھگڑتے ہو
- فِیْمَااس معاملے میں
- لَیْسَجو نہیں ہے
- لَكُمْتمہارے لیئے
- بِهٖاس کا کوئی
- عِلْمٌ ؕعلم
- وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
- یَعْلَمُجانتا ہے
- وَاَنْتُمْاور تم
- لَانہیں
- تَعْلَمُوْنَتم جانتے

تم1 لوگ جن چیزوں کا علم رکھتے ہو ان میں تو خوب بحثیں کر چکے، اب ان معاملات میں کیوں بحث کرےچلے ہو جن کا تمہارے پاس کچھ بھی علم نہیں۔ اللہ جانتا ہے، تم نہیں جانتے

یعنی تمہاری یہ یہُودیت اور یہ نصرانیت بہر حال تورات اور انجیل کے نزُول کے بعد پیدا ہوئی ہیں، اور ابراہیم علیہ السّلام جس مذہب پر تھے وہ بہرحال یہودیت یا نصرانیت تو نہ تھا۔ پھر اگر حضرت ابراہیم ؑ راہِ راست پر تھے اور نجات یافتہ تھے تو لامحالہ اس سے لازم آتا ہے کہ آدمی کا راہِ راست پر ہونا اور نجات پانا یہُودیّت و نصرانیت کی پیروی پر موقوف نہیں ہے ۔ (ملاحظہ ہو سورہ بقرہ حاشیہ نمبر 135 و 141)
