وَاِذْاور جب
قَالَتِکہا
الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُفرشتوں نے
یٰمَرْیَمُاے مریم
اِنَّبیشک
اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ نے
اصْطَفٰىكِچن لیا تجھ کو
وَطَهَّرَكِاورپاک کیا تجھ کو
وَاصْطَفٰىكِاور چن لیا تجھ کو
عَلٰیاوپر
نِسَآءِعورتوں کے
الْعٰلَمِیْنَتمام جہان کی
۟

Translation and commentary

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور یاد کرو جبکہ کہا فرشتوں نے اے مریم یقیناً اللہ نے تمہیں چن لیا ہے اور تمہیں خوب پاک کردیا ہے اور تمہیں تمام جہان کی خواتین پر ترجیح دی ہے

Commentary

حضرت زکریا اور حضرت یحییٰ علیہ السلام کا قصہ بیان ہوگیا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت زکریا علیہ السلام کو شدید ضعیفی کی عمر میں ایک بانجھ اور بوڑھی عورت سے حضرت یحییٰ علیہ السلام جیسا بیٹا دے دیا۔ تو کیا یہ عام قانون کے مطابق ہے ؟ ظاہر ہے یہ بھی تو معجزہ تھا۔ اسی طرح اس سے ذرا بڑھ کر ایک معجزہ حضرت مسیح علیہ السلام کی پیدائش ہے کہ انہیں بغیر باپ کے پیدا فرمادیا۔ اب اس کا ذکر آ رہا ہے۔
