  1. فَلَمَّاپھر جب
  2. وَضَعَتْهَااس نے جنم دیا اس کو
  3. قَالَتْکہنے لگی
  4. رَبِّاے میرے رب
  5. اِنِّیْبیشک میں نے
  6. وَضَعْتُهَاۤمیں نے جنم دیا
  7. اُ ؕلڑکی
  8. وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ
  9. اَعْلَمُزیادہ جانتا ہے
  10. بِمَاساتھ اس کے جو۔ جو کچھ
  11. وَضَعَتْ ؕاس نے جنم دیا
  12. وَلَیْسَاورنہیں ہے
  13. الذَّكَرُلڑکا
  14. كَالْاُ ۚمانند لڑکی کے۔ لڑکی کی طرح
  15. وَاِنِّیْاوربیشک میں نے
  16. سَمَّیْتُهَامیں نے نام رکھا اس کا
  17. مَرْیَمَمریم
  18. وَاِنِّیْۤاوربیشک میں
  19. اُعِیْذُهَامیں پناہ میں دیتی ہوں اس کو
  20. بِكَساتھ تیری
  21. وَذُرِّیَّتَهَااوراس کی اولاد کو
  22. مِنَسے
  23. الشَّیْطٰنِشیطان
  24. الرَّجِیْمِمردود

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پھر جب وہ بچی اس کے ہاں پیدا ہوئی تو اس نے کہا ”مالک! میرے ہاں تو لڑکی پیدا ہو گئی ہے۔۔۔۔حالانکہ جو کچھ اس نے جنا تھا، اللہ کو اس کی خبر تھی۔۔۔۔اور لڑکا لڑکی کی طرح نہیں ہوتا۔1 خیر ، میں نے اس کا نام مریم رکھ دیا ہے اور میں اسے اور اس کی آئندہ نسل کوشیطانِ مردود کے فتنے سے تیری پناہ میں دیتی ہوں“

  1. یعنی لڑکا اُن بہت سی فطری کمزوریوں اور تمدّنی پابندیوں سے آزاد ہوتا ہے ، جو لڑکی کے ساتھ لگی ہوئی ہوتی ہیں، لہٰذا اگر لڑکا ہوتا تو وہ مقصد زیادہ اچھی طرح حاصل ہو سکتا تھا جس کے لیے میں اپنے بچے کو تیری راہ میں نذر کرنا چاہتی تھی۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

تو جب اسے وضع حمل ہوا تو اس نے کہا اے میرے ربّ ! یہ تو میں ایک لڑکی جَن گئی ہوں اور اللہ بہتر جانتا تھا کہ اس نے کیا جنا ہے اور نہیں ہوگا کوئی بیٹا اس بیٹی جیسا اور میں نے اس کا نام مریم رکھا ہے اور (اے پروردگار !) میں اس کو اور اس کی اولاد کو تیری پناہ میں دیتی ہوں شیطان مردود (کے حملوں) سے

Commentary

آیت 36 فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْہَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ اِنِّیْ وَضَعْتُہَآ اُنْثٰی ط۔یعنی میرے ہاں تو بیٹی پیدا ہوگئی ہے۔ میں تو سوچ رہی تھی کہ بیٹا پیدا ہوگا تو میں اس کو وقف کر دوں گی۔ اس وقت تک ہیکل کے خادموں میں کسی لڑکی کو قبول نہیں کیا جاتا تھا۔ وَاللّٰہُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ ط۔اسے کیا پتا تھا کہ اس نے کیسی بیٹی جنی ہے !وَلَیْسَ الذَّکَرُ کَالْاُنْثٰی ج !اس جملے کے دونوں معنی کیے گئے۔ اوّلاً : اگر یہ قول مانا جائے حضرت مر یم علیہ السلام کی والدہ کا تو ترجمہ یوں ہوگا : اور لڑکا لڑکی کی مانند تو نہیں ہوتا۔ اگر لڑکا ہوتا تو میں اسے خدمت کے لیے وقف کردیتی ‘ یہ تو لڑکی ہوگئی ہے۔ ثانیاً : اگر اس قول کو اللہ کی طرف سے مانا جائے تو مفہوم یہ ہوگا کہ کوئی بیٹا ایسا ہو ہی نہیں سکتا جیسی بیٹی تو نے جنم دی ہے۔ اور اب مریم علیہ السلام کی والدہ کا کلام شروع ہوا :وَاِنِّیْ سَمَّیْتُہَا مَرْیَمَ وَاِنِّیْ اُعِیْذُہَا بِکَ وَذُرِّیَّتَہَا مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْمِ ۔اے اللہ ! تو اس لڑکی مریم علیہ السلام کو بھی اور اس کی آنے والی اولاد کو بھی شیطان کے شر سے اپنی حفاظت میں رکھیو !
