Surah 3, ayah 194

  1. رَبَّنَااے ہمارے رب
  2. وَاٰتِنَااور دے ہم کو
  3. مَاجو
  4. وَعَدْتَّنَاوعدہ کیا تم نے ہم سے
  5. عَلٰیاوپر
  6. رُسُلِكَاپنے رسولوں کے
  7. وَلَااور نہ
  8. تُخْزِنَاتو رسوا کر ہم کو
  9. یَوْمَدن
  10. الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕقیامت کے
  11. اِنَّكَبیشک تو
  12. لَانہیں
  13. تُخْلِفُتو خلاف کرے گا
  14. الْمِیْعَادَوعدے کو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

خدا وند! جو وعدے تُو نے اپنے رسولوں کے ذریعہ سے کیے ہیں ان کو ہمارے ساتھ پورا کر اور قیامت کےدن ہمیں رسوائی میں نہ ڈال ، بے شک تُو اپنے وعدے کے خلاف کرنے والا نہیں ہے۔“1

  1. یعنی انھیں اس امر میں تو  شک نہیں ہے کہ اللہ اپنے وعدوں کو پُورا کرے گا یا نہیں۔ البتہ تردّد اس امر میں ہے کہ آیا  ان وعدوں کے مصداق ہم بھی قرار پاتے ہیں  یا نہیں۔ اس لیے وہ اللہ سے دُعا مانگتے ہیں کہ ان وعدوں کا مصداق ہمیں بنا دے اور ہمارے ساتھ انھیں پورا کر، کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ دنیا میں تو ہم پیغمبروں پر ایمان لا کر کفر کی تضحیک اور طعن و تشنیع کے ہدف بنے ہی ہیں، قیامت میں بھی اِن کافروں  کے سامنے ہماری رُسوائی ہو اور وہ ہم پر پھبتی کسیں کہ ایمان لا کر بھی اِن کا بھَلا نہ ہوا۔

اے ہمارے رب ہمیں بخش وہ سب کچھ جس کا تو نے وعدہ کیا ہے ہم سے اپنے رسولوں کے ذریعے سے اور ہمیں رسوا نہ کیجیو قیامت کے دن یقیناً تو اپنے وعدہ کے خلاف نہیں کرے گا

Commentary

آیت 194 رَبَّنَا وَاٰتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَّنَا عَلٰی رُسُلِکَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَۃِ ط اِنَّکَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ ہمیں شک ہے تو اس بات میں کہ آیا ہم تیرے ان وعدوں کے مصداق ثابت ہو سکیں گے یا نہیں۔ لہٰذا تو اپنی شان غفاری سے ہماری کوتاہیوں کی پردہ پوشی کرنا اور ہمیں وہ سب کچھ عطا کردینا جو تو نے اپنے رسولوں کے ذریعے سے وعدہ کیا ہے۔
